The Honor 90 was quite good. The only concern compared to Samsung for example is updates. I'm also waiting for real battery improvements. Honor is getting good endurance with the silicon anodes I believe. Honor 200 Pro video looks good/camera samples.

It's a solid phone, updates they are normally okay but not a frequent as Samsung's monthly update schedule they have. Honor is doing things right with the silicon carbon batteries, and high PWM rates. Plus the fast camera focus tech and now this portrait mode.

The B&W harcourt portraits look great the colour not so much but still okay however very vintage look to it with the tint and everything. The camera module looks better than the Pura 70 Ultra that’s for sure! 😂

@@camotech1314 Sony Xperia Pro-I I like, and I do like the circular design if done well! It is also easy to mess it up (for instance tiny sensor in a big circle just looks shit) Or something like the S10 series . Something that works with the body, here it feels... disconnected from the body.

Honestly pretty good for a midrange device. Especially how the photos are well balanced and have a few fun features. And finally, dual firing speakers 😂. It's pretty good but could be a bit more cheaper. Although that's probably saved for the Honor 200.

Yes but a phone is classed by it's chipset. So for example SD8 Gen3 = Flagship. SD 8S Gen3 is a midrange chip = midrange phone. It's how it works.

To get the harcourt look, its not the camera! but the lighting setup in the studio. They are using barn doors, snoot or narrow grid pointed downwards towards the face and a couple of hairline lights from the back towards the hair and more lights towards the background to create subject separation.

Yes that's part for the process yes, and now they do it on the phone with some AI on the subjects face but the background is still there. You can yes set up lights and all of that which I saw in person at Studio Harcourt in Paris.

crazy flagship price using 8s Gen 3. Just buy Nubia z60 ultra for much less with SD8 Gen 3 then install a better camera app. alternatively, redmi turbo 3/poco f6 for a fraction of the price without telephoto and slightly inferior/smaller sensor main camera

It's a great package only it is a bit more than I guess my idea was it would be about 700 euros. Under heavy loads it throttles a little but nothing crazy. The SD 8S Gen3 is a decent chipset.

I've removed more of the bots. YT doesn't nothing about it! As for the unlocking no I think it' still 2d face unlopck no info to suggest otherwise. It's 50mp+ 2mp for depth info. Overall it's like a flagship what is on offer, the cameras and performance only behind a bit in CPU/GPU performance compared to the SD 8 Gen3. But for most it's good.

It's too bad, because I am always on the lookout for the next flagship-killer / mid high-end wonder. I'll go examining the Honor line-up, like you told me once. I think my top limit would be something like the OnePlus 12R, but I would rather have something slightly cheaper.

The 12R seems like a good option. I have the 12 again from Aliexpress for a very decent price with the global ROM if you can get it is well worth it, worked out cheaper than the 200 Pro. Tecno phones look great I don't know why they keep telling me they have no stock or ghost me. Nevermind I have enough work as it is I don't need them or Realme, Xiaomi etc.

Denia, med coast of Spain. The X5 Pro is nice, this HONOR has a faster main camera for focus and action shots. Better portrait mode and low light maybe.
