Honor and Huawei do really make amazing devices. They were taking over and they make arguably better devices than Samsung. But yeah.. the ban was really sad.

And pricing is on point, here in Mexico Huawei devices were cheaper than Samsung and Apple with (arguably) better devices, I think the ban was set to slow the growth of Chinese tech companies.

@@jhonedoe3734 There is another issue: According to our German/European Law it is not allowed, that the government cannot skim off data without any reason whatsoever. Whereas in China laws have been enforced that data can be skimmed off without any reason, for example when infringing even "moral law", which is pure madness. This goes even for foreign collected data. God forbid, if you ever want to go there just because a Douche stood in connection with your own critical activities; in my case my friend had been tortured and he had fled to Germany into exile. Chinese companies are a "no no" right now; even American software is a "no no" in German offices, or at least data must not pass through American servers, which American firms luckily adapt to. Hell, why am I as a foreigner not allowed to found my own company primarily in China without any trouble or bureaucracy? There are several things which I simply don't like and cannot accept.

@@ThePianist51 not defending Huawei here by any means, but there are officially zero proof records of Huawei stealing data (using phones, not talking about 4g and 5g equipment since I don't know), because let's not forget the official claim is that it's a national security threat, and it stayed hanging in court because trump gov didn't provide any proof, and at the same time kept them banned. In other words it was banned because we wanted it to be banned. As I said am not defending Huawei and I know China did the same, they don't allow google and Facebook etc in their country, so I guess it's what countries do now. It's sad from a technology development standpoint though.

Its been 5 years and am still using an Honor device. Still impressed with the features it provides and with such good UI optimization, I still don't feel the need to change the device. They did a very good job back in the day and I'm excited to see how they do now when they have seperated from Huawei. Hopefully they come back in top 5.

Xiaomi just released a 210 Watt charger phone, it goes from 0 to 100% in 8 minutes. Pretty crazy what some companies do, but not sure it's safe in terms of a thermal runaway. lol

Fast charging its the best thing ever. I barely charge my phone, and sometimes just before leaving to work I realise I've got only 10% left. Usually takes me 15 min. to fully charge my 11T pro with 120w charger and I'm ready to go. From leaving the bed to be ready to leave home, phone its ready to go

When would US Authorities realize that Honor and Huawei are literally the same companies 🤣 Huawei phones were beating the iPhones and Samsung S series by a big margins. Their innovations were setting up the slow moving Apples to look like a budget phone. Samsung still innovated, but Apple relied on flimsy things. If they hadn't banned Huawei, things would look different. Be ready for iPhone 14, which will be same as iPhone 13 and 12 and 11 and 10 and 9

I missed huawei so much.. they were very innovative, but because of the google ban, I have to switch to samsung.. Hopefully honor will go mainstream now so I can switch to it..
