As a Samsung owner, I love one UI and my s23U. But Honor magic is years ahead of the z fold. They just got it perfect. This year's I am skipping upgrades, but next year I am planing to upgrade to a fold, and it will probably be a honor magic v4 if samsung don't catch up with the fold 7.

It's Honor software with Google integration. Why do you think he's hiding the software? There are plenty of videos about the software. Some people prefer the best hardware on the market. If you want to feel like you're not getting the most innovative product but just care about software then get a Samsung. It's not all about thinness. It what the Chinese give you for your money compared to Samsung. But I'm sure you already know about that.

Samsung has the better software, so it's best to go with the phone with the better software such as Samsung. Why go with a phone that's bigger that lacks in the software department when you're getting a phone of this magnitude for productivity.... Samsung overall is still the better phone.

The only annoying thing about the phone is why didn't they put the camera whole in the corner of the screen in the inner screen? Where it's placed it always gets in the way of videos. Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is better because of this.

Thats very useful to know Google services -) on and then play store appears automatically without having to visit an app store. Please be sure to mention if that is the case or not for the mix fold 4, and if notifications work ok on it or not, that is the determining factor for me.

Yes i care about the thinness but also the battery, the 66w brick to charge it or 50w wireless, the cameras are great and you get a free case. As for software, on every other review ive looked at the magic os 8 is just as fast and easy to get on with as any other phone out there. So nope not just how thin it is.

Was tempted for v3 now it has wireless charging but got all the 50+ watt xiaomi wireless chargers.. 4 car ones an everything.. Plus loads of free themes on xiaomi.. The downside is if the screen fails like a lot of v2 screens have you have to send it back to China and hope they repair it that's the only thing which puts me off. As I presume honor uk wouldn't touch a China version even when launched globally

Thanks for the video AD. The one thing I hope your going to look at is the Hinge! It was the v2's weakpoint and it continures to be the v3's weakpoint. IT will NOT stay at certain and many angles and will just flop down. FOR me this is a deal breaker and I will stick with the Vivo X Fold 3 at 10.2 mms. The 9.2 mms the Honor gives me is not worth that crappy hinge.......

Just look at that Fold 6 in crafted black next to the Honor. I just think that looks way better, much more premium. I was tempted once by the Chinese data sheets, the wider cover screen etc. But I came back to Samsung every time. Software mainly. Folds hinge is built like a tank, Chinese hinges are by far not as sturdy and get floppy over time. For me the Folds form factor just makes sense, the wider the cover screen, the more unusable the inner screen ratio is for video. Oh and also: local support, true global availability, fast repair etc. Endless customisation with Good Lock. I don't care about camera performance as much (and I think most Fold users don't. Otherwise Samsung would have put the Ultra's camera system on there). The only thing that really does need improving on the Fold is the charging time, that just isn't up to par anymore.

If I was 100% sure that the Chinese rom has Norwegian language I would order it right away. But I'm guessing it's not an option here. Reselling in Norway is impossible if the device don't support Norwegian language.

Please reviews deeply the camera and recording performance like the zoom capabilities at 4k60 fps while the vivo x fold 3 pro can max zooming 10x. And do the macros photography, zooming level capabilities photography 3.5 x 10x until 100x. So i can decide which the best overall performance and photography.. thank you

One note, unlink the v2 Chinese rom, some features requires honon login to active - in v2 it didn't, in V3 it did - e.g., some downloaded accessibility services

seems the same as the v2 when it comes to screen dimensions thickness is negligible between the devices 0.6-0.8 mm the thinness of these devices do not allow for full snapdragon performance they probably perform the same the camera wont be vastly difference the zoom looks pointless yeah ok if you get your foldables wet this might be abit better but this is not something you get if you have the v2

Chinese rom is all about issues, this phone will be available globally in September with Google support and fully optimized. Avoid phones with Chinese rom and always get the global version.
