I have had mine as daily phone for about a Month now. It came with the Magic pen which works on the inside and outside displays!. I actually like the software, its not as polished as samsung but there is nothing wrong with it. I just went into any specific apps I needed not be closed and changed the power settings. I have zero issues now with it. I am using the Global Rom which is important as it all just works. I hardly use cameras on phone so as long as they take a good auto photo I am fine and having the 3.5 telephoto is nice. People really do not realise it unfolds when you hand it to them. It is like its from 2-3 years in the future. Love mine and I have Z Fold 2/3 and Pixel Fold. Nice video.

Ngl, even I want Dynamic Island on my Samsung. When I'm listening to music on my 14 Pro Max, it's just insane that I can control almost everything right from the DI without having to navigate in the app. Or that I can fiddle with my Timers or Stopwatches from DI. Or that I can quickly jump back into the Calls or the Maps app. Some things should be copied.

incredible hardware but open canvas for me is still the pinnacle of phone multitasking. Plus you can get a second hand one plus open for around £900. Then I can trade it in for the oneplus open 2 early next year!

I am not a fan of foldables at least yet but I do appreciate the evolution.With that said it really seems that the Chinese manufacturers are leading the way with this Honor and the One Plus.The high-end foldables are perceived as fragile and they are and also costs a lot of money and the cameras are not as good as traditional devices at least yet.So for now with all it's corcks the S24 Ultra (note) is still the king of the hill in my book when it comes to all in one.I really think Sony is the phone to keep an eye on for 2025 if they manage to refine the ideas behind their device.

dont know how these companies innovate so much in terms of hardware, then falls short of the software side. maybe they put all there r&d money to one side only. most probably, they do it deliberately

It's not even that bad.

Well they are good when come to Software in China but for the global market ,they really don't understand
@Nigward008Ай бұрын
The software is good remember not everyone sees things and feels the way you do regarding your preferences on software. If anything I see it as there is room for improvement.

I've been using it for a month already (imported from Hongkong) and the software is honestly really good. See ben's gadget reviews.

The next OnePlus Open might be just about as thin, with SD 8 Gen 4.

Hardware is great, but at this point, Id rather wait for other companies like samsung, google, or one plus to catch up just because of superior software, better support, and more consistent ecosystem experiences.

That show no matter how good is hardware is but if the software are just meh then it won't be sold to everyone, same happened to me when I'm using Xiaomi phone before with really good hardware, but their HyperOS is just like half baked software with some really annoying bugs or maybe a features and unresponsive software, I don't regret at all when I switched to OnePlus even in terms of hardware it little bit downgrade but their software can make it even better than my previous Xiaomi smartphone

what is that at the hole punch inside screen ? it looks like that area has been damaged🤔
@SK1PinthefleshАй бұрын
I thougt I was the only one noticing it too... Like an extra extended tiny black cirle to the right of the camera punchout?

Honor is years ahead of Samsung's foldables in terms of hardware. Although Honor's design isn't my cup of tea; I don't like the outer display, as it appears asymmetrical.

I thought the 512gb version comes with 16gb ram?
@maddadaАй бұрын
No it comes with 12gb in the global version. Doesn't make that much of a difference (S24 Ultra is 12gb and no one complains about that)

they copy iphone because in china, iphones are looked at with prestige. who knows why but that's the market.
@iAfroTechАй бұрын
Nope nope nope....2000$, with this UI. I don't believe in foldable, without physical shop for technical support, repairs...

And Samsung didn't just copy the airpods pro and Apple watch ultra? And Apple didn't copy a ton of features from android with the latest iOS? Everyone copies from everyone. It's not a big deal and we benefit from this (I like the magic capsule on my V3), and I wish Samsung would copy large folders from Honor.
@SK1PinthefleshАй бұрын
I would've preferred HONOR used the exact design language of the Magic 6 Pro on this thin V3 foldable. That camera layout isn't it for me And I always like pleasing aesthetics of any device Somehow its the only dealbreaker
