A keyboard is important to me, and the prerequisites are a trackpad and backlit. This tablet has neither, so it is a deal-breaker no matter how good the tablet is-and it seems very good. Thanks for the look anyway. I'm continuing my search for an Android companion tablet for my M1 iPad Pro, which is still strong and performs comparable to 2024 devices after 3.5 years.

Depends on the use... But t that's why I chose honor over one plus... I had tablets and phones from both brands and both were reliable and still ran like new, no downgraded perform the years. Same experience with xiaomi.

Does it have video out? I currently have a tab s8 plus but I noticed that I tend to have eye strain from the oled screen (probably due to low PWM), could this one be a nice replacement?

have you found out yet? my main concern is eye strain. In addition, I am not sure how good this tab for extensive note taking, audio marking, and transcription when recording long meetings.

@@NANA-gy7yx I got the honor and I wouldn't go back to the galaxy. You can wireless stream to TVs (you'll get some delay but for my use case it's ok). Regarding eye strain, I've never had any issue with the Honor, even for low light reading, while the galaxy gave me headaches in 10 mins. In addition, I think Honor is better for screen and audio quality

I'm a med student who owns a tab s9 ultra. I used it since 2023 and it's a damn good device. It's screen is big and the whole experiance is still buttery smooth after a whole year but if i have to choose between at least for now i would go for honor because it's specs are just superior for the parts that matters to me like cpu and gpu. And personaly lacking a fingerprint sensor is not a deal breaker for me. For the pen experiance samsungs pen experiance is magnificent. it's responsive and you can use it without charge. I realy don't know the pen experiance of honor tho so you should do your own research about that. Hope that it helps.

I really enjoy using my one plus pad 2. I never felt the LCD was a downgrade and I have a galaxy s24 ultra and lg C4 OLED tv so I'm accustomed to excellent colours and black levels. The LCD display in the one plus is excellent quality, equivalent to iPad lcd's. That being said if I was buying again I'd have the Honor pad even with the lesser chipset just for that display and speakers combo.
