@jamesbryan3383 it's been great, for content and browsing. But that's all I bought it for. The only downside is altho technically 2k youtube only 1080p. But has been brilliant for the price, only slow when lots of apps open as long as you keep on top. It's fine with anything really.

This is a very good offering from Honor Chris. But a around 350 dollars this should definitely have a better performing Chip set. The 6 stereo speakers are really cool though👍👍. And the tablet overall has a good build and design. No headphone jack and SD card are a bummer for sure. Thank you for putting out so many reviews Chris. Appreciate the hard work 👏👏

Thank you for doing table reviews. They are very good. Can I make a suggestion? You dont include the GPS screen anymore and that is fine but could you replace it with a sensor screen to see what sensors the tablet/phone supports. Dont need to go into detail about them, just shows us the screen of a sensor test to show us the sensors... For example the teclast t40pro has a lot more sensors than the alldocube iplay40h and that could swing the decision for some folks. Thanks.

Why don't manufacturers understand that people use a tablet often for watching streaming content with a headphone and thus is a 3.5mm port more than welcome. I rather trade the USB-C port for a 3.5mm + micro USB port.

Great review👍. Superb budget tablet from Honor. My next tablet if it will come to Finland 🇫🇮. Surprisingly light weight for a 12" tablet as 10 inch tablets usually weight the same. A winner in my opinion and Honor is a great brand.

No not at all. Honor parted from Huawei and now they get all Google services and the Play Store ✌️. Honor is my favorite brand now - their new Honor 70 just got that prestigious EISA award for Best Buy smartphone of the year 2022 🏆.

For 200-250€/$ it would be good but not for 300-350€/$… Have the Lenovo p11 plus wich offers more or less the same real world performance (seems to be even slightly better on graphics) and starts around the 200€ mark here in Germany… And for that you get mostly the same Mediathek g90t, 4 or 6gb ram, 128gb storage, 11“ display, very nice build quality, 4 speakers wich are pretty good too, and here we even have keyboard port and pencil support… In the moment it has still android 11 but should get the 12 update in the coming weeks… So both Tablets are on the same level but with very different pricetags…

@TechTablets no worries mate. It's a shame as no-one seems to be able to confirm this even I'm the store where I was about to buy it. Was also considering the yoga lenovo but that definitely doesn't let you watch amazon prime in HD, only Netflix and KZbin. My go to viewing is mainly amazon prime HD. Not sure what to do. I've read reviews where customers have been told to log into amazon prime via the website and not the app. Just did this and interestingly enough, my old galaxy tab s which I purchased in 2014 said best picture quality 0.46gb/hr in the actual app which doesn't let me watch in hd and never has. On the website, it said 1.17gb/hr. This was the same movie and clearly looked better but still didn't have the hd sign at the bottom when you press the screen. So I think this honor pad 8 will be great if you decide to watch on the website rather than the app especially as it has newer hardware and software. Going to buy it tomorrow. Yippee...

Pricing markup is too high. In China, you can easily get a Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad 2022 with the same Snapdragon 680 processor at 100 Euros, that is affordable.

if 1 inch screen size is not deal breaker for u, lenovo p11 PLUS 6gb is better option performance and price wise - p11 plus 6gb has single core score close to 500 vs 370 and price around 250€ vs 350€ and was recently upgraded to android 12

Very expensive in my opinion...I think Lenovo P11 Plus is a better choice. Priced 249-50€ cash back and more powerfull...both SD680 or Helio G99 cut some costs. Switch to 6nm, but kill features like encoder/decoder. For exemple, If you've got some 4k/30 videos from your GoPro on your NAS, your won't be able to watch them on SD680/G99 when it is possible on far older soc like SD660 or G90T... Just received a P11 Pro Gen 2 today...more expensive but not in same League!
