As the owner of the Xiaomi Pad 5, I think, that there is absolutely no reason to buy the Xiaomi Pad 6/Pro. In my opinion, the only obvious difference is the more powerful processor. The title fits perfect , it truly is much better than expected. Makes me wonder if I should buy Xiaomi devices that are using the Chinese Rom instead of the global one. If this gets a global release, then it's going to replace my 2020 Huawei Mate Pad Pro. BTW Chris, what smart watches do you recommend for android? I'm not a person who does sports or get out too much sadly. I was looking at Garmin Fenyx 6 Pro or 7 Pro. I'm sick of Samsungs 1 day battery life and very, very slow charging speeds. What are you using? Thank you for the video.
@Techtablets Жыл бұрын
Title does suit as it was a pleasant surprise I thought it might have bad throttling and thermals but not at all. As for the watches I use myself the Huawei Watch 3 GT Pro and it's fantastic up to 10 days battery life. It just goes so long. I hate the 1-2 day battery life watches.
@MrFloryn88 Жыл бұрын
@TechTablets me too. It's totally useless. To be honest, I'm not a fan of Huawei Watches at all. They don't work too well with Samsung phones. Maybe the newer ones do, I stopped buying them since I last used GT2. I've heard that Garmin is very good. But I've never used any. I'm surprised at how good the tablet is. A bit disappointing with the screen

as a person who likes to mess with my devices, you can do a lot of workarounds in chinese ROM to have for example multi language support and nearby share. It becomes the same experience as the global ROM but with 5x its smoothness (currently doing it with my pad 5 and it's game changer)

I bought a cheap redmi pad se 8gb/256gb for 250aud recently just for a very long strong of flights (80 hours on the air over 2 weeks) And I'm so impressed, I'll Def get a 6 pro! This cheap little tablet emulates GameCube, Wii, psp games at 3 to 4x native res, plays hl2, ep1/2 portal, cs:source, Dreamcast at 3x res, motrowind, warcraft 3, diablo 2 and even oblivion!!! As well as all android games ever! The screen is 90hz but it sucks, cheap LCD, however I'm shocked at how well this plays things given it's an ancient snapdragon 680/adreno 610. I def did not expect to play the Wii version of MW3 on this, relatively playable ( drops to 25/26fps in big fights) Again, I just bought it for the bigger screen to maybe watch movies on my flights, didn't expect il be paying through windwaker at 2x resolution on it at ALLL!! Unfortunately, PS2 games and switch games are too much for it, but PS2 games are close! Gow 1/2 ran at 19/23 FPS. Not quite there, but almost lol!

Will get mine tomorrow. Battery runtime and charging speed is important to me so I bought the Pro. Would have liked a cardslot on that one - at least transfer speeds will be good - other than that on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (Exynos model) which has a cardslot, though. Fortunately, prices for higher configs are not over the top, so the Pro with 256 GB flash (my model) does not cost you an arm and a leg. Will be interested in seeing battery runtime at 90 Hz which would be enough for me. For around 500 bucks not a shabby tablet with all its features. It's insane how much other manufacturers charge for higher end hardware! Xiaomi's update policy for that model hopefully will not be too bad. Would have been great if it came with the pen. Maybe I can get one later at a cheap price. ;-)
