Thank you for your kind words. We are coming up on her Angelversary soon. That day is still so imprinted in me. All of this is still new and feels like it just happened. I’ve been on pause since. Thank you so much to your family and your beautiful baby girl! In times so hard ppl often don’t even want to be approached by the organ donor team. So please everyone sign your donor card & talk to your family & loved ones! About everything you want if the worst happens. It won’t make kissing you easier, but it make make your loved ones heart feel a little lighter knowing you live on & have helped another live! We lost my Dad much to young. He was a paramedic & always made sure we knew what he wanted. We thought because of his illness they couldn’t use any of his organs. I’m a nurse & forgot the biggest organ we have. Skin! He was able to donate a great amount to the burn unit & of all the things… my blind Dad was able to donate his eyes for a person to see for the 1st time. (There are parts that can be “your bodies issue”) It still makes me smile. Beautiful Cadence saved 3 lives!! Thank you!!! To Mom, Dad, family & friends.
