Honor Walk for Cadence Joanne Tilton 2/10/2023

Cadence made the decision on Jan 31 , 2023 to check the box to be an organ donor. Less than a week later, on Feb 6 she was in a car accident. On Feb 8, she became a donor. She went to surgery on Feb 10. She then proceeded to give her heart, her liver, and her right kidney to save 3 lives.

My uncle received a kidney and pancreas on his 50th birthday. He lived with Type 1 diabetes his entire life. Just when we thought we were going to lose him he got the call. I can't thank the parents of the 16y/o boy who, in their grief decided to donate their son's organs. We enjoyed 16 more years with my uncle who, in the end, we would never have had. I am an organ donor to pay back the incredible gift my uncle was given ❤❤

I'm alive today because someone gave blood. At birth I had to have a total blood transfusion. This was in 1968 was given last rites as I wasn't expected to survive the journey from a small country town to a hospital in Sydney that had the ability to perform this procedure. These days it is common but back than advances in medical science and funding in country hospitals was almost non existence

Thank you so much to your family and your beautiful baby girl! In times so hard ppl often don’t even want to be approached by the organ donor team. So please everyone sign your donor card & talk to your family & loved ones! About everything you want if the worst happens. It won’t make kissing you easier, but it make make your loved ones heart feel a little lighter knowing you live on & have helped another live! We lost my Dad much to young. He was a paramedic & always made sure we knew what he wanted. We thought because of his illness they couldn’t use any of his organs. I’m a nurse & forgot the biggest organ we have. Skin! He was able to donate a great amount to the burn unit & of all the things… my blind Dad was able to donate his eyes for a person to see for the 1st time. (There are parts that can be “your bodies issue”) It still makes me smile. Beautiful Cadence saved 3 lives!! Thank you!!! To Mom, Dad, family & friends. My prayers are with you & thank you from those who can’t! Rest peacefully Cadence! 🙏🏻🪽🌈🤗

I cried throughout the whole video. There is nothing more beautiful than the gift of life. During the most devastating time in their lives, Cadence's family chose to save the lives of others, just as anonymous donors did (twice) for my husband. He was given the gift of life via a new kidney at the age of 30, and again at 34. He died at the age of 39 yrs old from heart related issues, and an infection. I was given nine more years with my husband because of people like Cadence and her family, and I will be forever grateful. Because of people like them, we were able to have a son during that time (something that came as a surprise, and wasn't supposed to happen, lol). Our son is now 21 yrs old, and is a reminder of my husband. A gift given because of donors. As an RN, I can't stress enough how important it is to become a donor if you can, because it really does save lives. As the wife of a recipient, I can say that the effect is immeasurable. I remember the pain of losing my husband too soon, but I believe I will see him again, just as I believe you will see Cadence again. Thank you for sharing the video, despite your pain, and her final gift.

because Cadence you will always be with your family 👪 loved-ones and friends when they need your presence the most and Cadence your family loved-ones and friends will always remember the good and great times that they had with you and all of the jokes that you have shared with them and all of the happiness that you have brought to them I'm very sure that because you made them all so very happy with your presence and when they needed you the most that you were always there for them to help cheer them up and when you needed them the most that they were also there for you and they helped to cheer you up when you needed to be cheered up Cadence you brought alot of happiness and joy as well as alot of love into other people's lives when they needed it the most and Cadence because of your love that you had for others God has chosen to have you as one of his greatest angels 😇, Cadence your love and kindness and your caring for others is why God has called you home 🏡 to be with him and you're radiance will always shine down upon your family loved-ones and friends forever&beyond and you will always be remembered and you will be loved for forever&beyond Cadence may you rest in peace knowing that you will be reunited with your family loved-ones and friends when God calls them home to heaven to be with you throughout eternity and infinity and beyond Cadence you will be forever missed but you will always be with all of the family 👪loved-ones friends and others who have and will always love you until the end of time but as God and his son christ have said that time and this world 🌎will never end eternity will last forever and beyond and even further than that may God grant you the peace and eternal love that you will always have and may God also grant you eternal life life with others is what truly makes you real shinning hero to me and to the other people's lives that you have touched in a kind and loving way, Cadence go with God and enjoy the eternal rest that you have earned because of your love kindness and caring for others and to the family loved-ones and friends of this beautiful young lady she is a real true hero always be proud of her for the choice that she made to donate her organs that helped to save the lives of three other people for she is now and will forevermore shine through the eyes of all who knew her and loved her she will always live on in all of our hearts and in the heart's of the organ donor recipient's of the three people who otherwise would not have had the chance to be here today and to be with thier families, loved-ones and friends Cadence you will forever&beyond always be in my prayers and in my heart and Cadence you are a real true inspiration to me and to others who have made the decision and choice to donate our organs so that we can help other people have a second chance at life, who wouldn't otherwise have had the second chance to live it just goes to show just how kind and loving that we all can be when we decide to help other people out when they need it the most, and that is all that God asks of us is to help others when they need us to help them in their times of despair and need and Cadence by your love that you have shown three other people God will forevermore grant you his love and mercy kindness and compassion for the love that you have shown to three other people and you will live forever&beyond in heaven with God and all of his angels 😊😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉🎉 Cadence you are a great and beautiful young lady and because of the love that you have shown to three people God will never ever forget your love kindness and compassion and caring he will always forever&beyond be with you and your family loved-ones and friends and when it's time for your family loved-ones and friends to be called
