This is such a beautiful and touching thing that hospitals do for those that as they pass from this world, they are giving this precious gift of life to others who can benefit from this. As you are taken down these long hallways, this is just the beginning of your long journey into the hands of God. May he rest in peace and I thank him so much for his service. I will also pray for his family that this can give them some comfort.

To the man who not only served his country in life, but also in his death. I don't know you; I don't know anything about your life, family, or friends, but I love you. I love you because of your service to our country while you were alive, and I love you in your passing into eternity as you have your organs given to a person or people needed them so they could live a fuller life. Your heart is beating in the chest of another person. Your lungs were given to someone who's labored breathing can now inhale and exhale without pain, your kidneys went to someone who had to live with the help of a dialysis machine. Your liver was given to someone who perhaps suffered with cirrhosis or some other fatal liver disease, your eyes now are seeing the world by someone who could no longer see. And your skin is alive and well on a person who needed a skin graft after being burned, much like my son who received a graft after an extremely serious burn. You are a hero. You are alive and well in eternity and here among us who live our every day lives. So thank you, my friend and my hero. May God continue to bless you and your loved ones.
