Jenni had a lot of unresolved trauma that she unfortunately projected onto chiquis. Jenni of course was a talented, charismatic, hard working woman. But let’s not ignore how she treated chiquis. She was a horrible parent to her. Chiquis is the true warrior

Agreed. She was hard working and had ambition, but she wasn’t a good mother.

Horrible is not the right expression.. That a Hispanic mother ..they are very straight forward tough love that we expect and accept from our mothers because it makes us 1st born the strongest than ever. Chiquita is who she is because of how her mother raised her.. Jenni prepared her to stand up and keep moving when things want to knock you down rather you realize it or not
@ana33655 Жыл бұрын
@@crystalgail5925 unfortunately this is a common misconception in our community. it is not normal for a parent to kick a child out of their home because they decided to hang out with friends after school, it is not normal for a mother to side with her husband/friends over her own flesh and blood, it is not normal for the oldest child to play parent to their younger siblings at such a young age. the day our community can accept that we have unresolved trauma, is the day we can raise better children. there are healthy/normal ways to raise children to be independent and strong that aren't through trauma!

My heart broke for you when u said u heard your Mama's voice say "these kids need you". Because you are one of those kids.. You have always acted as an adult but your inner child needed your Mom just as much and to step up and be strong for ur siblings is admirable. I pray that one day you will have that Pillow to fall on also in a person Mija. You also need to be taken care of. I've watched your Mama and all your shows and just think the most of your Family and I always felt a lil sad for you because I was also that strong person so everyone just thinks oh she's fine because u show strength over vulnerability. But you also need to be checked in on..

Thank you for feeling confident and safe enough to be vulnerable with us. I am a huge Jenni fan and now I'm your fan too. Keep taking care of you. ❤

I was only a freshman in high school when Jenni passed and a HUGE fan. She’s all I would listen to on the school bus lol. I remember that day clearly, I cried in the shower after school and was heart broken about the news. Now at the age of 24, I still bump her music on the way to work, karaoke her on nights when I’m out with friends, my best friend and I have this tradition of screaming jenni’s songs at the top of our lungs in the car on our way home after a night out. I never got to meet her but I can tell she had such a strong, beautiful energy and anyone who knows me knows I have been and always will be a huge Jenni fan.

Chiquis was given so much responsibility at a super young age & that’s a hard thing to be the child but having to play the part of an adult. Jennis sister Rosie I feel has played a dark part in the family unraveling. Rosie was secretly jealous of jenni. Didn’t Chiquis catch her trying on & making a show in Jennis clothes after she died? Jenni was vulnerable at the time that lady poisoned her mind about her own children/husband.

Hmm in retrospect I don’t think her trying on her clothes was a bad thing but it was werid ….but now idk the family always has drama I don’t why this family can’t just have peace

Chiquis at such a young age you were given alot of responsibility. Like you said God had a plan for your life. All you were taught by your mom and everything you have been through made you to be the strong woman you are and have become. You are an amazing woman and I love how you continue to be there for your siblings and honor your mom. You got this Chiquis. You have the best team ever God and your mom by your side. I listen to La Divas music and it still impacts my life. You and your siblings are an inspiration to me. I live in Corona and went to see the opening of the barber shop. My boys took a picture with you. Keep moving forward Chiquis. Praying the Lord will continue to be with you and your siblings.

I had no clue you saw those pictures its so hard knowing that you saw those and breaks my heart knowing this. I cried so hard because it takes a very brave and tough person to handle such sadness and chaos... This was very brave of you telling us . Also I think personally it's a lot of jealousee and secrets that most families do have and it's unfair to you and your siblings because you were brought into this world not knowing how chaotic it is but hopefully in your sister's and your hands That your mother's legacy will be properly put out in the world without anybody mishant Lee money or Taking advantage even during her after life cause all I think about is like Selena and her family and how they should honor that and respect that in my personal opinion and I think you guys are doing so well and as long as you guys are together that's what really matters and the people that think a certain way about you those are not your family those are people that did not I'm conditionally loving you like your mom did and she did a d*** good job taking care of you

You are a strong woman Chikis. I really admire you. I'm also an older sister with three siblings that lost our mother at a young age. I was 24 and my siblings were under 18. So a lot responsibility came to me in one day. I would have to make a podcast to explain what I went through. Losing a mother is the hardest thing someone can go through. Keep up the good work and shake them negative people off no matter if it's your own family. My mom was also the glue to my extended family and it hasn't been easy. But I'm better off away from that chaotic world. XOXO much love to you and your siblings ❤️.

I’m truly sorry you had to endure all of that shade and pain. It wasn’t her fault. That wicked lady really got to her with her lies about you. You were the best daughter and mother figure to your siblings. That’s priceless. Keep climbing as high as you can. In mariposa del barrió. She stated that you guys were gonna squash the misunderstanding and spend the holidays together. I cried so much at the ending of the series. I couldn’t believe that she died right after that concert. It’s crazy and sad. She was an amazing human being. A big hug to you my beautiful Chiquis 😉😘❤️ I know the feeling. I’ve heard your 15th bday story and it sounds messed up, she was probably going through something then too. She had you being a child herself. You have been through enough. I find it really hard to believe such a strong woman, wise who built a big empire that her children are still living from…I find it hard to believe that she would go off of just ONE circumstance “situation” between you and her husband, and use that to cut you off completely. I think it takes more than that. One thing is to let you go to your grandmas, she knew you were in good hands. But she cut you off and never spoke about the situation . I hope you find peace if you haven’t

I never believed Chiquis slept with Esteban. She couldn’t do that to Jenni, not after everything they’ve been together with Trino. That woman that broke them apart should be ashamed. It’s sad that Jenni & Chiquis never got to make peace because they both loved eachother deeply. Chiquis was her first baby girl and her rock. Jenni had been hurt by so many people that this woman came into her life and messed with her head so bad she turned on Chiquis. Esteban and her has their problems, that’s on them, but your children are forever.
