Hey all! Thanks for the comments, I totally agree with most of them ;). Be sure to check out my "Behind the Scenes" filmmaking channel: kzbin.info The uniform and proper military tactics are totally my bad ;).....not allot of budget so we had mainly borrowed gear and military surplus goodness. This was a film put together in a few days mainly for fun and learning more about filmmaking in general for myself and was a springboard for some new actors to give it a shot. I really appreciate you watching and hope you will subscribe! Thanks all!!

Hey man,don't sweat the small shit.If the point of your film was to show what it's like to be in a war where you can't always identify your enemy,death can be around every corner,under any rock,and all points in between,you hit the nail on the head.That has got to be a situation our troops face every day and night in the places they are in right now.

The song is called "if some body is out there shoot at me". Usually sung when walking out in the open and as loudly as possible. You can also sing it when walking on the top of a hill. But is better to start it up when you get closer to the enemy...when scanning for the shooter remember to stay up as long as possible 5seconds should be just long enough to get your head blown off...Usually snipers are brilliant at hitting fast targets...so remember to move as slow as possible...Snipers are more deadly at night so rather not wait for the sun to go down. Guns are the only tools a soldier needs...a rope and hook would never come in handy. Smoke grenades are of no use other than to play in the smoke...a thermal monocular or gun sight never helped the eagle eyed soldier. A periscope is a child's toy. A circular injections around a bullet wound that stops bleeding is science fiction...

I'm in the Army and I can tell you most of this was just wrong and insulting. uniforms were wrong, guys don't act like that on patrol in a combat zone no matter how much of a shitbag they may be at home. MP's don't really do combat patrols, open danger areas like this are avoided (especially when man made structures are around) they are just exposing themselves and being loud. and nobody would murder a wounded kid who was obviously forced to do this by the Taliban. they would patch him up (if possible) and medivac him away and question him as to where the Taliban insurgents are hiding. maybe if it was an actual terrorist that was in that kids position I could understand merking the guy(even if it is against the Geniva convention.. like he said, life's a bitch) also, if a guy was sniped in the neck like that, his face would have literally exploded. and nobody would be "bleeding out" from a shot to the arm. not bad cinematography but insulting to veterans and service members.

Futuristic, but realistic before anything else - to honor all soldiers past, present, and future. Anyway, I just want to do a few scenes with characters. Not cheesy, I promise. Solid.

The MP's are a very versatile force. An MP unit has a LOT of firepower and is mobile as all get out and has comms up the ass. Their big three missions are battlefield circulation control, rear area security and, lastly, law enforcement. Plus they can either be bunny huggers or stone killers on command. This started back in the 90's when the Red Horde Airborne forces were a serious threat to rear areas in NATO. Don't think the mission has changed since..

@@rhysmcnully4887 There isn't a law that prevents them for making accurate uniforms. If a movie has soldiers with inaccurate uniforms then it's on them for not doing good research.

Tips: 1. When he got shot you should've dragged him too cover. 2. You also should've had a medic in the group to help the wounded man.3. When you radioed for help you should have an clarification code like ''superior 5-3 superior 5-3, this is charlie alpha charlie 334 i repeat this is charlie alpha charlie, requesting for immediate air support and medevac. over.'' 8/10 overall AMAZINGLY good for a 400 dollar budget!

MP patch is weird, and the flag is too low on his shoulder, research the uniforms more on the next film, otherwise i loved it, great work, enjoyed the cinematography

Think it was great for a low budget fun video. Next time maybe dig a little deeper into the patches.. I’m not military and even I noticed the MP patch lol

Why is an MP on a black ops mission?
@wilburfinkelstein281610 жыл бұрын
See my comment to Estatic Feats. Even though this is just a movie, all MPs are trained for small (3+ Soldiers) unit operations away from support. It is inherent in their mission. They also have the Army's Special Reaction Teams, which are your basic door-busting and people-shooting folks on Army property (think the Army version of SWAT). They are not officially SF units, but they do have some of that capability. I suspect that they are being used for some missions of that sort.
