They were trying really hard to be Mr. Bungle at this point. It was the same with Incubus who were also performed at this gig.

at least with Incubus it made sense, plus Brandon's songwriting and DJ Lyfe's sampling lent themselves to an art-rock flavor severely lacking in early Hoobastank. also, Incubus at least switched up the formula - Brandon with his djembe - and took more cues from Bungle's Disco Volante (which again allowed them to transition seamlessly to art rock starting with Make Yourself) whereas Hoobastank directly copied Mr. Bungle, even down to the two-sax lineup, and focused primarily on capturing the circus-funk-jazz-metal-ska of the first album.

Sim! kkkkk parece mesmo. Principalmente por causa do baixo, o baixo dessas músicas são tão fudidos quanto nas músicas do CBJr.
