Does the hood warning only happen under heavy acceleration, or is it happening other times as well? Maybe triggered by vibration at high speed?

It is happening on the highway now. Also on other side roads. Speeds as slow as 45 mph. When I was on with Rivian the alarm sound was constantly going off the entire call. 15 mins straight.

@@doingitruss9942 Have you been able to identify/locate the sensor? Any ideas if the sensor is mechanical or solid state? Depending which it is, might be easy to adjust.

@@doingitruss9942 Looking at your wall charger video it almost looks like the hood (frunk lid) is out of adjustment. The sheet metal appears to be higher than it should be, which makes me think the latch needs to be adjusted tighter. Maybe that would close the sensor circuit more reliably. Just spit balling.

@@sonovabeach I like it. The person at Rivian I talked to today implied that they are going to possibly replace the latch. At least he was verifying if they could find parts. I’m sure they’ll do a full inspection but I’m going to take a look at what you’re talking about tomorrow.
