This is an update on the Hood Error and my first experience with the Rivian Service Center.

I hear a knocking or bump at low speeds. According to Kyle from out of spec video ,states it is the motor that is causing the thump. I think he is right.

I have same noises in mine, but I don't think they are "normal". Maybe "typical"..but shouldn't be normal. Definitely feels and sounds like something is moving or interfering somewhere. Mine makes some suble squeeking while this clunking is happening simultaneously too.

I got mine last week, and I hear a rattle as well and the delivery guy was saying was normal and I thought that it was not as well. Mind you I never had an electric vehicle. All the cars that I have are high end German vehicles and they don’t make any noise, rattle or any kind of suspension noise. Can you keep us updated if they find anything or not. It feel like something is loose under the truck.

Even my TMS - JAN 2015 has no rattle after 220.000 miles.

I have the same issue with the hood. It says hood latch open, perfect My driver window makes noise as well

I’ll keep you updated on the solution. The adjustment they made didn’t work. I’m waiting to hear when the part is in for replacement.

@@doingitruss9942 mine seems to happen when its really hot, maybe its just a coincidence. I didn't figure it was an adjustment, the latch is pulling down

@@Mikesele70 I’m waiting for service center to get the part in before I can have it replaced. Hopefully it’s the next couple days and that is the fix

Mine happens when parked in direct sunlight. After it cools down the alarm goes away.
