I have an 09 galant and can't get the hood open. The release lever on mine is on the floor though, not the dash like yours. Not sure what you mean by access panel behind front license plate either. That part of your video is really quick and not super helpful. Can you elaborate? Are you referring to that mesh grill under the plate?? Does it pop off?? I don't see and bolts or screws for it

I've got a question about my 2009 galant if you have a minute. Had to replace the actuator and the rubber strip between the panel and window didn't come off with the panel. Is that normal? Any help would be appreciated. Great video's by the way! I was searching my problem and came upon your catalytic converter video and it was so funny I just started checking out your page. I'm subscribing even though I'm no mechanic.

where I live. People use bunjie cables to hold down their hoods when they dont latch. People here will drive with missing or smashed in fenders, doors, lights, bumpers, and hoods. Just a few days ago. I saw a dude in a beat to shit mini van that was missing the outer part of the door on the driver's side. The part where the window was houses when rolled down 100% exposed.
