Do you have hooded eyes? They are beautiful! Just takes a little more effort to be able to see that pop of color on the lids!

I keep watching this video over and over again to help me get the eyeshadows right. I am 68 and have those dreaded hooded eyes, so I need all the education I can get! I’ve watched other videos dealing with the same malady, but this one is more educational. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

Well, I keep watching this video to help learn the eyeshadow techniques for those dreaded “hooded eyes”. This video is a TREMENDOUS HELP for those. However, I’ve come to the horrible realization that my eyes are not only hooded, but they actually have the “dunlop” syndrome. (You mature Texas ladies will figure out that term🤪.). Anyway, I’ve made progress with the eyeshadows technique, but I’m giving up on my scraggly, short eyelashes and ordering magnetic falsies!!! The magnetizing eyeliner will be my major obstacle since I have NEVER mastered any kind of eyeliner!!! Ladies, if this is the first video you have watched regarding “hooded” eyes, just keep watching it over and over. There are no other videos as informative as this one‼️‼️‼️

What do you do about your brows? Do you need to leave them natural or do you raise them from the hooded eye. I see everyone with a raised close to the end of your brow

I have just discovered your channel and you are amazing 🤩 Such great tips... Learned so much from this video! What do you recommend and wear for your lashes?? I heard you mention Lashify. I browsed around but it's kinda confusing on their website. I am new to falsies but yours look great. Not too over dramatic but gorgeous! Thanks for great videos!!

In addition......I LOVE the color Finn which is a shimmer. On aging eyes where would be the best placement?
@TheContouredChemist4 жыл бұрын
I love that color too! So just don't use it as a crease shade or where your eyes have the most texture, like on the "hood"! I like to keep that one on the lid and/or used in the outer corner or lower lash line.

Do you stay away from the darker shimmer eyeshadows maskcara offers and do only the lighter ones in the inner corner/ on the lid? I feel like I don’t have a lot of space to work with so some videos I’ve watched intimidate me with all the colors they use. I generally try to create almost like a reverse shadow effect - lighter on the lid and darker just above and at the crease and then highlighter at the brow bone. Is this right?
@TheContouredChemist4 жыл бұрын
Yes exactly! I will wear mid tones on the lid, but always brighten the inner corner and brow bone and keep the darker shades to the outer corner and above the hood! You are totally right!
@jessecajackson66804 жыл бұрын
What’s a good midtone matte brown?
@TheContouredChemist4 жыл бұрын
Basic (neutral), Bubba (warm), Bird (more olive toned neutral), or Oak (darker, but neutral that can also be built up and worn darker in the outer corner)
