I as a Shia walked into a Masjid in east London , at the time I was 15 years old, with my cousin who was also 15 at da time. After prayer we were called kafir by people praying 5 meters in front of us, don’t even know how they saw us during Jama prayer ! Why can I not pray in ur mosques? I challenge any One from Ahlul sunnah to go to any Shia masjid, you will never be treated like that

Similar thing happened to me in Egypt There was only 4 of us in the mosque or zawya , and the imama said istaqueemo and sedo al fawarej meaning make a line and don't leave any space between you and the one next to you. So I left a space of half the width of a literal foot, so he looked at me and said closer, so I made it even a bit closer but without touching the one next to me. He told me close it. I told him I don't want to and I won't, so he stoped staring at me and he wouldn't start the prayer unless I do as told. SO I told him I will leave if you don't start. He didn't reply. so I started leaving and he waited all the way till I'm out then he started the prayer. Now I am telling this story. because this is part of me leaving Islam at that time even though I prayed outside. but I was furious. so furious that I began to struggle with myself and little by little I left islam all together and fell into a huge fitna where I thought everybody is wrong and they are all ignorant and hypocrites. Thank to Allah after at least 3 years of hard study and self reflection, I reverted back to Islam much stronger than before. and I have nothing against closing the Gaps. and now sob7an Allah , Corona came and the Gap is reversed. The 2 other guys in that prayer were my "friends" and no one stood up for me.

Brothers, you do great work but please, a couple of suggestions: (1) Tell a bit more about the video and its context before discussing it. For example, I found it difficult to understand why the brother was not allowed entry. (2) Dont talk over the video if there is speech in the video. i used to go to this masjid on wright street small heath Birmingham. They told me i can not sit on the front row years later i went there as soon as i entered a black brother shouted at me and said dont put your shoes on the brown court as they had recently decided you can put your shoes on the brown carpet which is a part of the shoe rack area

Assalamo alaikum... Its story time...Let me tell you a TRUE story !!! Once upon a time approx 2 decades ago a Masjid needed someone to look after their affairs while the Imam was travelling overseas. So they appointed a brother to become the Imam and handle the affairs of the Masjid....Unfortunately the brother appointed was someone from SPUBS. What transpired afterwards was shocking. He came in like a dictator and appointed his own Ashura. The extreme practices came into affect..At the time of prayer ' Feet to Feet, Ankle to Ankle brothers !!! when standing in line. They started grabbing peoples ankles and forcing them next to the brother next to them. A brother from Tabligh Jammat came to collect for the Orphans in Pakistan. They refused to donate and when the Adhan was heard by the brother, he was told just like the brother above recording that he is not welcomed in this Masjid. This extreme disease that entered our masjid and community destroyed families and friendships. But the great thing is what happened next... Finally after seeking advice from the Lajna Daima , we were give the permission to over throw this Hoodlum and his Cronies ....The evidence being that he was only given permission to take care of the House while its owner was away and when they owner came back and wanted to return to his property they refused.. IT took Jahil Muslims, Thug Life !!! From the streets to come in on a Jummah and straight after the Salat the take over began !!! Alhamdolillah ....They were sent bags packing and they knew if they tried any resistance they would get squashed like Flies... Oppresion always requires people to stand firm. Whether it be at school or in the community. Stand tall and stand firm... There was so much rejoice on the people that Halwa was handed out. This story is a true account of what happened as I was a witness to all of this and participated in the expulsion of those oppressors. And to add the cherry on top, the Jahil brothers, Thug Life who came to help embraced the Deen fully and since that time have become prominent members of the community helping many, with beautiful characters mashallah.
