Moissanite is not a fake diamond it is a precious stone in its own right. I don’t understand the stigma. It is literally the second hardest of all precious stones. It dethroned sapphire once it was discovered. Additionally natural moissanite is rarer to find than diamonds which is why what is used in jewelry is lab grown.

Jeweler’s been scamming people for decades about the authenticity of stones, the internet is what messed it up for them. Moissanite is definitely the way to go unless you’re planning on resale.
