l actually experienced this at this same dealership with the same "finance manager" in this video. I visited the dealership two days in a row for a truck that had been sitting on their lot. Came to an agreement on the sale of my used vehicle and agreed to do financing through their dealer so they would get their "kick back". After reviewing the final buyers order and seeing they were giving me less than what we AGREED.. after putting a down payment.. he proceeded to insult me and my father and say that my car "was not worth that much" "no one's gonna buy that" and shitted on my used 2015 VW... took the life of my father and I to not choke this bitch out. Literally right after I went to a dealer down the street bought the same truck, brand new 2024, for thousands less

A skinny body scat for 57k msrp?!? 2 model years old essentially, which is 2 full years of depreciation before you drive off the lot, of a car that already depreciates fast as hell. They can’t sell those cars, if you asked how long it been on the lot they’d say 290 days or some shit which is absurd. We know it’s a 2023, the 2025 is bout to drop and if it wasn’t an ev it would have been here a long time ago, that’s 2 model years my boy. That 1st year is 10-15% but on a dodge it’s more like 20%, now add another year on top of that, he’s going to be so upside down it’s not even funny. People aren’t paying 57k for widebody chargers which are more in demand than challengers. The real price for skinny body scats right now is 48k. Getting a car for MSRP+ tax title license is a fair deal. People never try and fight below MSRP. But I got an 2024 Audi s3 and got it for 6k under MSRP. Which is a great deal. I don’t think SRT and hellcats will go for 10% under MSRP because of the demand, but definitely shoot for atleast a couple grand under MSRP.

This the thing... I worked in the Auto Finance industry for over 10 years. This was a lot of questions.. But I'm glad y'all asked.. Good for content. But buying a car should be simple. Pick 5 diff makes / models of cars you want. You get pre-approved before you go shopping (only after you've done your research), see what they charging for the vehicle you want. You only worry about the out the door price. Don't let them rope you on the extra charges and fees. From there tell them what you're willing to buy the car for. Let them know you would go thru their financing for the right price. If they don't agree, bounce.

Penfed a good credit union. Also BECU, BCU credit union, Consumers credit union, Landmark credit union. It’s 2024 , pretty much every damn thing going up. Back in 2020 and a little of 2021 prices were decent. If your credit decent and go to a credit union you’re lucky to get a 7% to 9%. With A1 credit as low as 6.5% depending on bank.

Yo you need to relax with wanting to prequalify every time. I get you’re probably thinking if they see the credit score they make take you more seriously but that’s actually playing into their benefit in the long run. Focus on the numbers first. Don’t give them ammunition to use against you. Honestly the best way to get a true number on your trade is to negotiate the numbers on the car first. Then introduce the trade after. Then they you’re getting that real number on the trade. Also watch for when you are negotiating numbers that dealers don’t just extend out the monthly payments and not discount the vehicle. As a rule dealers will try to get you to focus on cash down and monthly payment NOT trade value or price. Obv when they give up on those numbers they lose money. Also EVERYTHING is negotiable! Even in the finance office. The extended service plans, even your interest rate to a certain degree. If you have decent/good credit chances are you aren’t seeing your actual “buy rate” the dealer has marked it up 2% points.

These prices crazy. Shii what I did was buy a slim body scat charger for 20k off copart with rear end damage, no keys, with title. Spent about 8k or so in getting it fixed up, drove it around for a bit then sold it to someone out of state for about 45k then went and bought me a Lexus😁😁
