It's sad. I worked at Barnert Hospital in the early '90's as a Substance Abuse Counselor and lived across the "bridge" in Fair Lawn. Paterson has just never gotten it's act together. The same failed ideologies, low to no expectations and enslavement to government sponsored slavery continues to this day. And this is the result.

The areas shown here appear to be mostly multi-family or apartments with no yards and not much in terms of architectural sophistication. Definitely much more densely populated. Contrast what is shown here with the real tragedy of Detroit where much of some of the beautiful family neighborhoods with spacious yards, large single family homes, unique architectural design, quality building materials like brick, and such have been burned out and abandoned, and as CharlieBo has shown in other videos, returned to nature.

The borders of the city are very friendly, but the as of late, people from the lesser safe parts are starting to wake up and move to the nicer areas.

Paterson nj is a beautiful city, the only city in the entire United States with its own water falls , we have Lambert castle up on Garrett mountain, the first colt gun was manufactured in Paterson, the only city in the United States u will find a liquor store , barbershop and a bodega on every block , I love my city , been in Paterson for almost 40yrs and definitely not leaving , it's home , I love u Paterson nj. Btw the only city where 4th July fireworks starts June 1st all night long lol but that's Paterson.
