pretty good comparison. These bikes seem to be a pretty good value and 35 MPH is plenty fast for a neighborhood cruiser.

Thanks. That really is fast enough to get around the neighborhood, maybe even too fast. I do like the extra acceleration power from a stop on the big bike. We have a lot of hills around here as well, and the big motor works a lot better on them than the small one.

You’re going to really like the big bike. It was hard to show just how much bigger the GTX feels in the video, but you’ll understand when you get yours. The extra seat height, and longer seat and higher bars really do make a difference.

😂This #RAEV company is a joke! They contacted me last year and wanted me to review a bullet, I said sure, then they changed it to another bike and I signed their "agreement contract", still nothing, communication is horrible with this company. They reached months later in Sept saying they want me to review their new #GTX and like an idiot I said ok, again, they told me it wouldn't be ready till December cause they have to work out production kinks.....lol, ok so I wait, well now it's 3mths later, March and I'm still waiting.....🤦‍♂They can't even live up to their own commitments on top of their poor communication. I'm not surprised their product has issues.

Beautiful bikes, definitely would get the GTX , as I'm 6' 1 240, but for the money and only 28 amp as a dual battery! That's crazy, so many better options out there. Love the design of it. A lot of great things about this bike, but overall the dual battery should be at least 30 amps for that price.

I got 1 of the early GT's, & mine accelerates WAY FASTER than that, & just hit 1,200 TROUBLE FREE BIKES, the only ebike I've ever had, & had NOTHING to wrong with it, only general maintenance, & brake pad changes like every 350-400 miles

Can’t swing my left leg over because of bone on bone. And want to know if I hold the bike at an angle will it be too heavy to do that before I put the other leg over. ?

You should probably get a step through e-bike that has the low V frame that’s easy to step over. A lot of companies make those with similar power. These bikes weigh between 80 and 90 pounds.

The RAEV GTX is a very stout e-bike. I rode mine on some pretty gnarly offroad trails today. On extreme inclines, I had to get off and walk it with the thumb throttle. Overall, I am very impressed with quality of my bike. It rides great on the street, and it's fun being able to hit the trails, also. It's the only E-bike I've ridden, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I'm very, very pleased with my choice. 🤘

I like it too. Both of the RAEV bikes are quite good, and they feel like actual motorcycles. They’re also more comfortable than just about any other EBike when you get the rear shock adjusted properly. I’d recommend playing around with air pressure on the back until it rides the way you want it to. The GTX shock comes from the factory, very firm with a lot of air, pressure in it, but if you let some of the air out, it’s a lot smoother ride.

Do you have to use both batteries on the GTX all the time to be able to pull more power? And does it pull power from both at the same time or one at a time. I would likenthe option to only use one battery one the GTX unless I knew inwas going on a longer trip. Trying to make sure it gives the same performance and speed with the one 52V hooked up.

It balances the electricity from one or the other battery, but it has the same power output whether you use one battery or two.

I saw that you can unlock the GT to go 40 mph. I know it’s only 5mph faster but can you unlock the GTX as well?

The GT goes a little over 28 miles an hour when it’s unlocked, and on the GTX, I was able to get up to 38 miles an hour on a flat road. Both of them will go faster than that if you’re going downhill.

Would the GTX or GT push you up a steep long hill without any peddle assist? I weigh around 230. Not a deal breaker but I feel like thats a pretty good way to gauge its true power.

They will both do it, but the GTX has more power for sure, so I’d recommend that one. I have a lot of hills in my neighborhood, and I’m around 200 pounds.

What's the deal with the more expensive bike being only a single speed? I really like having gears on my bikes. Especially when you need to help the bike do some climbing.

They figured the bike has enough power that you won’t ever pedal anyway. Also, the riding position isn’t conducive to a lot of peddling on these type of moped style e-bikes.

Maybe. Check the part of the video where I measure the seat, height, and then see if you can sit on something that high. It really depends on how long your legs are. The GT has a lower seat.

I just ran the battery dead today. It went 38.5 miles. There are a lot of hills around here, and I unlocked it right after I took it out of the box, so I’d say, my number is a worst case scenario, which is still pretty good.
