Hog rework idea: Passive:roadhog can now fly through walls Hook: when a hook connects, you can either: -hook them to you and hinder for 2 seconds -doing a 180 will fling them behind you, and if they hit a wall they will be stunned for 1 second Take a breather: creates a smokescreen that reduces enemy damage by 50% and blocks vision To make sure hog isn’t too powerful with these changes, they should nerf him too: -ultimate cost increased by 5%

When sombra uses the new translocator, there is a 0.25 second delay before she tps to it. What happened here was that cyx hooked seeker during the 0.25 second delay causing him to be stunned, however he still tpd to his translocator while being hooked which is not supposed to happen. Its a bug lmao

What is supposed to happen is Sombra gets stunned, but when the translocator activates, she teleports to it with the stun cleansed. It is a bug that Sombra got hooked from the new location, and I think it's because the hook hit at the exact instant Sombra was in two places at once, both in line of sight. The game saw no problem with the hook remaining on Sombra.

@@skarloeythomas5172 Nah, not long after he lands the hook as she tps again and the tp goes through and breaks the hook, the problem is that if it's a good hook after it leaves her hand but before the teleport starts, as in she's fully in one place, instead of canceling the tp it drags her to the new spot before dragging her back when it should just drag her in.

i played as mei against hog to see how it felt on the other end and I literally had blizzard every fight, usually to start the fight. I just solo ult the hog, charge blizzard again, repeat until I win. he was basically not playing the game.

hook is actually VERY easy to understand now. if you have LOS to hog, you will be pulled in regardless of distance or radius. 1.0 literally had no mechanics, just "if it hits, you get pulled in". i get that getting "1.0ed" is a meme, and people dont GENUINELY think its 1.0, but its honestly really easy to understand when you will break from hog, or if your escape plan is futile. so it baffles me how people question "how did that pull?!" when its mechanics are literally the most basic of basics.

5:30 shouldn't have happened. I've done the same and as soon as Sombra's translocator pops, the hook breaks. Unless Cyx's hook here happened to connect at the exact same time the translocator went off, and corrected the hook placement with Sombra's new position.

@@brandonboogaard3583 In the video, Sombra is outside LOS, but I think in-game LOS actually extends vertically further than the monitor dimensions, or so says Marblr. I still think timing is essential because every other stun breaks when the translocator activates.

A common cause of losing though. I hate being tank and unable to push in because a damage got impatient or greedy or reckless and died needlessly before the fight. Have to wait for the next fight, and they often keep doing it, while the enemy damage get their ults first and continue the impregnable defence.

Watch it again, looks like Sombra's new location post TP was out of LOS. I think it's the hook connecting at the instant TP activated, so Sombra was in two places at once and since the hook was good in game code terms, she got pulled in regardless of where she was. I'd think that if this happened and Sombra was jammed against map geometry, the hook would eventually disappear on its own, like Lifeweaver grip disappears at the moment the target would reach Lifeweaver but didn't due to getting stuck on terrain. Sombra using translocator should override hook and break it once she teleports in normal circumstances.
