Just got our first set of Talon hubs to lace up for a custom wheel build. Excited to learn the process and get our customer on their way. Side note: Rob's the best!

Just lacing up my first pair of the new Talon hub here at RBW HQ; gotta say it in indeed a joy not having to go through hub prep process! Got a strong feeling this will be my preferred type of hub for any such build from here on in :-).

where can we get the specs on the onyx hubs so I can use the berd spoke calculator?

Just an observation but wouldn't building a wheel on a threaded rod mar up the hollow portion of the hub? Threaded rods are typically pretty hard with sharp edges. That being said I absolutely loved my set of AM30s with Onyx hubs. These new Onyx hubs look even better!

this is probably the rod out of a park tool thru axle adapter from a truing stand. Specifically made to go through hubs, this rod has very thick threads and no sharp edges to prevent hub damage

How small a wheel can be made with these? Are there any non-disc hubs with this system? I am interested in making a super light 406 carbon wheelset for a Moulton XTB, which has rim brakes on front, disc at rear, 100mm and 135mm QR. This may be a bridge too far...

Does anyone make a thirty six spoke hooked flange hub?
