Hooks debut has to be one of the best in recent memory. Has his old man's moveset but instead of having the "Survive if I let you" mantra he's more laid back and quietly confident

Love how instead of calling him “Tazmanian Devil” to play on his Dad’s name that his nickname is the “Handsome Devil” Has the Randy Orton 2002-2003 cockiness down pat but also the facial expressions tell a story. He looks like a million bucks already.

He’ll go no farther than multi-time mid-card champion for a major promotion. Let’s be real, whether he stays Elite or goes elsewhere… he’s not going to be World Champion. Not to say he won’t be great, but compared to the Jerichos, Moxleys, Omegas, Flairs, Austins, Rocks and Hogans… he’s more along the lines of your Billy Gunns, Scott Halls, Curt Hennigs…

@KillThrottle it wouldn’t be funny. It’d be shocking. I love when everybody gets upset over me saying somebody isn’t going to go as far as they think. There could be 100,000 active male wrestlers in the world right now and 12 World Championships across 10 promotions. Why do all 100,000 need to be World Champion? Professional wrestling is a scripted competition. If everybody gets a participation trophy (I.E. everybody becoming World Champ to appease you pions) then what’s the point in watching anymore? Is Brandon Cutler gonna be World Champ? Michael Nakazawa? Peter Avalon? Fuego Del Sol? Griff Garrison? Luther? Serpentico? Sonny Kiss?

Hook was better than expected. Props to Feugo too. I like how AEW allows everybody to develop their own identity in the ring and they don’t force them to learn a specific style. Forget the memes, that was simply an awesome debut. Hook didn't miss a single beat, and Fuego provided him the perfect dance partner. You can hear Taz practically bursting with genuine fatherly pride, and deservedly so, as he called this one. I saw so much of Taz in Hook. The way he carried himself he walked in that ring like he's been wrestling for 10 plus years and this was his first match. His intensity when he had Fuego in the corner he was flat out vicious. He executed his moves with precision there was no nerves at least on the outside. Even the charisma when he stopped and posed his confidence was off the charts. The only thing he doesn't have at least not at the moment is mic skills only because he hasn't uttered a word yet but this kid has everything else. The same things that made his father special make him special. AEW is sitting on a damn goldmine with this kid they should keep doing what they are doing and give him more time to develop because once he does he's going to be a force to be reckoned with. He was so impressive.
