Lima was being a Jerek and a liar and Emma knew that Killian would just have to find out the truth for himself !

God this episode was rushed. Imagine how much better it could have been, had Hook taken some time to realize his brother is flawed. Imagine, if forgiving himself had taken more than 2 minutes to go from 'Impossible, what I did was unforgivable' to 'My paragon of virtue brother is flawed, so am I, I can forgive myself'. Like, imagine if the show took its time with this. Would have been so much better. I also think it would have been better had Liam not moved on at the end of the episode. Yeah, he's owned up to his actions against Silver (the scumbag captain that owned him and Killian as slaves) and the crew. He's owned up to his lies to Killian. But that's not all his unfinished business anymore. Now, he's aided in the unjust rule of an evil tyrant, the very thing he died to stop. Not only that, but he helped continue the rule of the demon who tortured his little brother. Imagine, that lifeboat comes back to the cliff, Liam helps the sailors board it, then takes Killian's hand and climbs back to the cliff. "I'm not done, little brother." Now, his unfinished business is fixing what he broke by disposing of the pages. Instead of Killian apologizing on his brother's behalf in the next episode, it's Liam saying it himself and working to prove it. That quest for the 'holy grail' that Killian goes on with Arthur is with Liam instead. Would have been so much more satisfying.

he's trying to be a good brother. he's over protective of him, and though a bit harsh, i dont blame him.
