Great explanation and demo on picking up the sides and starting row to start the border. Thanks so much for this. I’m curious as to why we turn the work to make the border?
@CrochetWithTiffany2 жыл бұрын
I'm so glad you liked my border video Donna. Haha, you are not the first person to ask me why I turned the work to make the border. Honestly, at the time I didn't know it would make a difference. Thinking the pattern looked the same on both sides so why cut the yarn and start the row fresh in the upper corner beginning the row. I've learned a lot since then and would do it differently now. So, if you would like it better if you tied off the blanket at the end and then re-attached yarn for the border then please do so. I would probably do that now myself. 😊🧡🧶 Everything about this pattern would remain the same as for how you would work it up. The border would just be facing the right side and not the wrong side.

@@CrochetWithTiffany , have you never thought about it? Before my health made me swell up like a waterlogged whale, I might have never thought about it. @@CrochetWithTiffany I'd love it if you could please do a pattern for a dog dress. I've been creating my own on the fly because I have been unable to find a good pattern. I do beads, 📿 on stretchy crystal string used to make jewelry, around the neck to make it look like the dog is wearing a necklace with her 👗. I'm a breeder and like to send my puppy parents home with a dress &/or sweater that I've made. So, I can use all the help I can get as far as a variety of different styles/patterns. Thank you for this beautiful blanket. I’m just wandering, why are we working the border on the back of the blanket ?
@CrochetWithTiffany2 жыл бұрын
That is a great question Anna! This border is one that looks the same on both side. There is nothing really standing out about the border to make it noticeable. Also, I really liked working straight from the blanket body to the border without having to cut my yarn. However! If you would like to work the border with the blanket body facing forward feel free to cut your yarn at the end of the main blanket project. Tie off your work and re-attach your yarn in the top corner you desire to make the blanket border facing forward. 😊🧡🧶
