Do you happen to know what the tap size would be to "chase" the threads in the engine block where the oil pressure elbow screws into the block? Thanks for all the great videos and help.

Those threads would be a 1/8" NPT thread.

Do you have a video on the hydraulic filter hooks up on the ford 4000

I don't. This is the older 4000 that doesn't have a hydraulic filter.

Hey I have a ford 2000 with the 4 cylinder diesel. It has a noise I believe in the engine, at idle it is quite runs good with no blow by. But as you speed up the rpm’s it has a whining noise, kinda sounds like a power steering pump with no fluid. The higher the rpm’s the louder the noise. I checked all accessories on front of the motor and everything is quite. The noise sounds like it is in the motor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Unfortunately without hearing the noise I can't help much. I'd try to narrow it down though. You said you checked the front accessories. I'm assuming you removed the belts to see if noise stopped? Does pushing clutch in make noise stop or worse? Does oil pressure fluctuate when noise happens? You can also use a screwdriver held to your ear to listen to parts of the engine to see if you can pinpoint the noise. Dont forget injection pump and hydraulic pump.

Yes I removed the belt and the noise was still there. When I bought the tractor the hydraulic pump was bad. I rebuilt the pump and got the hydraulics working. The noise was there before I rebuilt the pump.

The clutch makes no difference In the noise.

@@austinbarbour1411 all that would leave that would be a rotational type noise is the injection pump, oil pump, camshaft, and crankshaft as well as timing gears. You can listen to the 2 pumps and timings gears with the screw driver and see if noise is louder. If not you're looking at something internal to engine.

I found the noise today, the balancer assembly one of the needle bearings has came apart and chewed up the shaft. Do you know anywhere I could buy a new balancer assembly
