I like how Hooky gets you too see Patrick's perspective. Yes it's risky, but I can see why he sees no harm in just playing with the bait and running away when it moves. Come to think of it, that's what I think fish tend to do in real life, hence why it can be hard to catch them.

They really do be going back and forth about whether or not spongebob has junk. Like at 9:04, the scene is framed so the table is covering his crotch. And he arranged Pearl and her friends as spectators that would make him so embarrassed. He wouldn’t leave his house for weeks
