This is great! I love seeing what other bunny people do for their bunnies, so many creative & cool set ups! We have two free roam buns, our bonded pair Muffin & Twinkles...& we also have the IKEA bed & the stacking baby cups! I agree that the little doll bed should be renamed for buns because so many bunnies love their bunny beds! Thank you for sharing! Love your channel & all you adorable bunnies!! 💕

Awww...it was nice to see some of my Buns make it into one of your Videos Diane. I’m the Breeder for the Arizona Hollands and I love raising quirky hollands. Bella takes after her mom, always being random while dad is super lazy. 🐰❤️ I’m glad they Submitted.

That's awesome, Julius! :) The Maxwells definitely love the bunnies they got from you, and it is funny about bunnies' personalities often mirroring that of their parents, as I have found that to be true as well.

Hook's Hollands Most of the lops I have had have been deaf. I mentioned this to friends as well and we have determined the same about their lop buns as well. Some times difficult to notice with bonded pair/groups since go by sight. Have you ever noticed this with yours? There is one video you have where Ana is snoozing and doesn’t wake when you call her. Easiest way to tell is to scream and they don’t react. I think this is why people think lops are laid back, chill bunnies! Haha. Love your buns. They are all so adorable. Wanted to mention something regarding your tangent on unwanted bunnies. Even worse is the ones people let loose to live outside. My buns are all rescues. Two of the four I caught outside after they had been living like that for months. One was an angora in such sorry shape. The other a lion head. Both doing great now. Lots of domestic bunnies living like wild rabbits here in Utah. Very sad. Thanks for all you do. Please encourage everyone to have “pet” rabbits spayed and neutered so no unwanted babies. We see lots of those kinds of accidents too. Take care!

I often find the bunnies deep in sleep, but they usually startle once I make noise. Also, when anyone new, especially a male with a deep voice, enters my bunny barn, the bunnies often scramble for their lives with the first sound uttered. I have only noticed a couple bunnies over the years that I suspected were hard-of-hearing or partially deaf, as sometimes they would remain asleep even with the vacuum on in the same room. They definitely seemed more laid back and tolerant of boisterous activity, which was actually quite a nice trait, though they wouldn't last long in the wild with such a handicap.

Thank you for your great videos! These bunny room tours are awesome! I watched your other bunny videos before getting two female chocolate mini lops, they are sisters and are 15 weeks we got them 3 weeks ago. My kids named them Daisy and Violet. I found 6 rabbit savvy vets around our area before getting them and did weeks of research before we got them. Thanks for all the information on rabbits! ♥️💜🐰

I wish you were still doing this. I absolutely love them! Plus i havnt seen any large breed bunny's featured so it would have been fun to submit my french lops free roaming set up. Its super hard to find things big enough for them so i had to be creative and also use lots of cat items lol

I'm happy to see that you can keep a bunny and a cat in the same house cause I've always wanted a cat and that is one of the things that has made me unsure about bunnies but who knows maybe someday (I can't get either rn anyway so it's ok)

I'm having a hard time potty training my rabbits and no matter what I do he doesn't want to go potty in his litter box and tips or tricks for those that are stubborn
@HooksHollands5 жыл бұрын
There are many tips for litter training your rabbit. I have both a video and a blog post about it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eGnHYYmGZceFq5Y www.ohiohollandlops.com/bunny-blog/litter-training-your-rabbit The keys are starting with several litter boxes, putting some of their poop or urine-soaked paper towel pieces in the litter boxes when accidents occur, placing hay in or above the box, and spaying/neutering helps as well.

Hey, I just had a 12 week old week bunny that suddenly sadly passed away. Wondered if anyone knew the cause
@HooksHollands5 жыл бұрын
Without taking it to a veterinarian/lab for a necropsy, we'd only be guessing. At that age, enteritis or other illness could be suspected as well as GI stasis.

I actually feel so bad for my rabbits. I have them in hutches on my deck. I want to have their setups like these but I can’t. I have dogs and cats in my house and birds in my room. No litter box.. no hay for eating..(only hay is for the flooring) eat the same ol feed and carrot peels. I want them to have amazing setups so badly.
@marissaterraza27304 жыл бұрын
Hay is actually really important and should be 80% of their diet. Carrots should only be a treat because it has so much sugar. There are ways to make bigger cages with lids like c and c cages. Or like the biggest dog kennel you can find then make it into two levels. :) hope that helps a little
@marissaterraza27304 жыл бұрын
Right now my rabbit is currently housed with 2 cats and they surprisingly dont bother her at all and she's the only who is mean to them. Maybe try to slowly introduce them? Obviously be very cautious especially with dogs but who knows they might surprise you!
