My buns' favorite "toy" is a paper grocery bag with a carrot or a handful of hay in it. They chew an opening in the bottom and turn it into a tunnel, then eat it!

I'm envious! We have 18 in solid floor cages and it's all I can do to keep up! I do have some wire floor cages and they are much easier, as you know. I keep telling myself that I need to make some hard cuts (let them go to pet homes), but I keep putting it off. It's so hard to let them go. I'm so glad to see you still Timmy, Golden Boy, and Sunny Jim. I'm researching setting up an indoor colony for my retired girls. That may be something you can do so you can keep some of your favs.😊 Hope you had a good birthday!

Oh my gosh! Adorable! I work in a small family owned pet shop. We get bunnies in from a tiny breeder who’s super small, we’re his biggest buyers and we only get in about 4-8 bunnies a month, which is good he’s a great breeder. Anyways, we usually get in mostly whites. They’re super rare in my opinion the bunnies we get. He has been breeding for a long time he managed to cross out ALL RED EYED whites genes in his lines! It’s incredible! So now the whites he produces are only blue eyed and adorable! Lops as well. So we get in a few little blue eyed white mini lops, we just got in a tan brown and white “ calico “ sorta bunny with blue eyes, grey with blue eyes ( opal ) and a dark brown with blue eyes! Imagine that! It’s amazing really how he bred the blue eye genes into his lines. Imagine how long it can take to do that. Forgot to mention he also gives us ginger babies with red eyes! ( we even one time got in a black lop with blue eyes. Blue eyes are just the cutest, I can’t even handle it. )

I've worked with BEWs (blue-eyed whites) before. All that is needed is two rabbits who either have blue eyes or carry that gene recessively. I like the vienna marks the best (color with blue eyes and white markings), but I discontinued working with them when I downsized last year.

Hook's Hollands - Ohio Holland Lops me too- we have some in right now, the colored or ones with markings and blue eyes. I love darker colors with blue eyes, it seems more “ rare “ ( even if they’re not ) just because we don’t always get in a ton of dark colors with blue eyes! They’re beautiful.

Feels so weird to see Earl Grey in a cage now! He's spoiled pet bunny extraordinaire now. He still thumps almost every day! think he doesn't know how to express himself when he gets excited haha! He'll see me open a treat bag, get his eyes wide, thump and immediately zoom and binky towards me. Still the same amount of energy this guy at 2.5 years. He's zooming around our bedroom right now, while Winter sleeps. haha :)

i've watched every video of yours numerous times (a mug of tea + your narration + your bunnies are often my destressor after a wearying work day) yet just now noted your mention of pumpkin seeds as dewormer. interesting! about how often and how many seeds do you offer?

I'm glad my videos are pleasant for you. :) I feed a pinch of raw pumpkin seeds and two drops of grapefruit seed extract in their water bottles (32oz) a couple times per year for a week. Whether it helps or not, I'm not sure. I do have actual wormer on hand if needed.
