I just ordered those KW cages 2 of the two story villas and was charged extra to add vinyl on the second floor as well. 🙄 they aren't very customer friendly I'll tell you that. Anyways- Are you able to block out the top level with one bunny upstairs and one bunny downstairs? I asked them that and they tried to sell me a custom made cage (that won't leave the hole for the ramp) but that would cost a fortune for the custom one. I already spent almost $900 on the ones I ordered. Probably not even close to what YOU spent but I feel for you!! I also mentioned that I heard about them from you and he just ignored my comment. Luckily, I live in California and might be able to dodge the astronomical shipping fee and just drive down to pick it up but he said he will let me know if they could do that. Ugh! Sucks because those cages DO look good. One last question! Sorry- but my bunnies (I have 4 holland lops) won't eat those Sherwood digestive tabs that I bought. They really need it because one of them has mushy poop always 😭

This video was excellent, it's great to see how someone experienced handles their bunnies and their daily routine. Even silly things like explaining why you're supposed to fill the water bottle all the way to the top to allow the vacuum to form properly, I didn't know before. You're super down to earth, very likable, and very honest. I love that you even shared things like your profits (or lack thereof) in your Q & A video. You can tell how well you treat your buns too, every time you even approach a cage they immediately hop over to say hi! I would buy any of your sweet buns in a heartbeat if I wasn't all the way in NY. Liked and subscribed! :)

Awww they're all so adorable 💕 I love your cages too, much bigger than the cages of most breeders I've seen, the floors aren't wire, they look about 8 square feet, and he cages look super cosy too ❤️ honestly your setups are better than many people who keep rabbits as pets and not for breeding.

Love it! We have our mini lop, Jethro, as a house bunny. He stays in his cage while we’re at work, but he has the run of the house when we get home. He’s not a snuggler at all, but will stretch out on the floor beside you while you pet him.

I love that you say somebunny, I do as well. =) My service rabbit Watson sometimes gets mushy pooders. Where do you get the digestive tablets? I live my dream of having a rabbit farm vicariously through you! You are awesome.

I get Sherwood's digestive tablets from their website. store.sherwoodpethealth.com/digestive-support/ Also, if you are feeding him veggies or other treats, try stopping those and just feeding unlimited timothy hay and a quality pellet like Sherwood. Some bunnies just can't handle treats and moist veggies/fruits.

He's a really picky boy. I have tried a few different hays and can't get him to consistently eat it. He doesn't get too many fruit treats. His greens intake is some pellets, fresh spinach, and whatever happens to be growing in my rabbit friendly garden. =) Thanks for the link! I think he will respond well to those.

You really have to work hard to keep all of your bunnies clean, fed, water, litter cleaning and excerising them! Great Job and thank you for sharing your video. I've had 3 house rabbits all lop eared and one at a time through the yrs. I miss having one so bad! Rabbits are sooo much fun and so lovable and they don't bark their heads off like one of my dogs does! Lol

I love this!! I'm getting a bunny at are new house (4 or 5 months) I'm going to keep my bunny in are garage in a hutch. Never outside!! Raccoons or ferrets can dig underground and get them ahhh!! Hahah😉 I would always let him run around in are garage and everyday I will clean his hutch!!🙂🙂🙂

It's best to have a nice indoor cage and a big caged area outside to play in during the day (fenced top and heavy so they can't dig under easily, I use pegs to keep mine in place). As long as you keep an eye on them, an animal won't have time to get through good chicken wire before you see them.

I also have a health related question: in your experience, have you seen many bunnies with "ingrown teeth"? My little Kuri-can (Japanese for chestnut) has this problem which gotten quite bad. It makes me really sad; she's only 2.5 years old and probably won't see her next birthday.

Bunnies can get malocclusion where the bottom front teeth are in front of the top front teeth, so they need their teeth trimmed for life. It is a genetic trait, but I have yet to see it personally (knock on wood). I haven't heard of ingrown teeth.

What's happened with her is all the back teeth are growing at the wrong end, working their way up into her skull and jaw. This caused a very deep nasty infection that cannot be cured. I've read about it before and the simple way to say it is there's pictures out there of bunnies missing half a face from this. Sadly, all the vet can do is treat it until she tells me it's time to go. I was just curious if you'd ever had to experience this with any of your buns, as it's very horrible thing.

Wow, I have to admire your dedication to your bunnies. How long does it take you in the morning to go through the feeding and cleaning process? I'm also amazed that none of your bunnies out having a run around are tempted to chew through the vacuum cable!

It takes about 1 1/2 - 2 hours in the morning, another hour in the evening, and various amounts of time playing with them during the day. It's definitely a part-time job with little monetary return once expenses and time are considered. :) I had one bunny try to nibble the cord, but I do watch while they're running loose and put the cord up when not in use.

Twice daily. They need a constant supply of hay and pellets, and if you feed a good brand like Sherwood, you can really free-feed however much pellets your bunny can eat daily. Mine usually get 1/4 cup in the morning and up to another 1/4 cup in the evening.
