73' skyline was sold as a 240K here down under. 10 years ago you couldn't give them away. A mate made his mum buy a coupe like that one. Flat black, straight through exhaust. No one wanted them. Now even the 4 doors command $$$$$$. They were great rally cars. Almost as good as the 240z. Same motor.

WHAT!?! Peter Brock signed the Skyline's dash! He's an Aussie racing LEGEND! He's been dead for around 10 years now. There was none bigger or better than Peter Perfect in Australia. He won Bathurst 9 bloody times, was a multiple Touring Car champ who also did quiet well racing in Europe in races like Le Mans and Euro Touring Car racing. My head just exploded. So much goodness in this ep.!!! Man, FJ20's were the shiz- nit in Aust before SR's hit the scene in the 90's. They are a tough engine that can be built to take huge amounts of boost. The head flows really well too and there was massive aftermarket support for them making them a really good little combo to build for a light car like the early Datsun's people built them for over here
