The Perfect Daily? Chelsea Denofa's Evo 5 RS (That He's Giving Away)

The EVO 4/5/6 RS was very specifically produced for WRC homologation to be sold to privateers for the Group N class and were ordered from the dealers as such. That is why the came sparsely equipped. Down to the front brake calipers that fit dirt dia. rims (15") and the Brembo's where installed from factory on the car and the dirt calipers where found packaged in the truck of the car. That is also why the gearing in the RS is so short as those cars top out at 130mph in short dirt stages.

The V RS is the best of all EVOs The RS gearbox has closer ratios (gears 3,4 & 5) compared to the GSR gearbox for better acceleration. Top speed of the RS model to around 140mph while the 0-60 time is a fraction faster than that of the GSR. The RS model doesn’t have ABS or Active Yaw Control and the car is 100kg lighter due to lighter panels and lightweight window glass. - Black door handles and black wing mirrors - No rear wash wiper - No front fog lamps, - Fitted with 15" steel wheels (optional to have GSR wheels) - Only available in Scotia white - Smaller leather Momo steering wheel (365mm) with no airbag (380mm with airbag on GSR) - No central locking and no radio-type keyless entry system - Quicker steering rack, 2.1 max turns (2.3 on the GSR) - Option of either a normal open front differential or a helical gear Limited Slip Differential ('worm gear' type) - Rear differential is a mechanical LSD

Wrong on the colors, 20 in red, 2 yellow and 1 silver were produced. Obviously extremely rare. A red one was on the market recently and have seen pictures of one of the yellows

@@thekingmezger they definitely did. Saw one of the yellows was a rally car, and one red one was on the market recently in Australia (I think). Either way good luck finding any other color for sale other then white lol

Made for customer racers. That is the reason is void of equipment and the original wheels were iron, and crap brakes. The customers were to strip them down and put rally gear

Man fingers crossed! I’ve never won anything in my life and I need a ride (.) my work truck threw a rod which the motors are known for 4 months after paying it off. So I currently am ride less, and I can’t afford to get anything right now. It’s making life suck literally walking and taking busses,rides from friends(which is rare tbh). Not trying to have anyone feel sorry for me just venting to the computer screen. This is a dream car of mine as well i used to have a vr4 back in high school. Why were the camber plates installed in that orientation? I always thought for BC the "L" and "R" symbol should be facing outwards the engine bay? Is it for a different camber/caster setup?

I would assume R is for the right side aka passenger and L is for the driver side. 3 bolt plate will only go in one direction that orientates the adjustment in the camber direction.

What I meant was how the L and R symbol is suppose to face outwards instead of inwards meaning the plate is technically flipped upside down the way he has it, but i’m not sure if that was intentionally done or not.

The caster was wrong (0.5° off) for US roads. so we flipped it to get it perfect.

@chelseadenofa evo 5,6 and 7 have weaker rods that are only good around the 300hp mark. Anything more it's risky unless u pull heaps of power out of the down low and mid range

Not really a 5 or 6 issue. There were some years that affected most 7's (but not the latest built), and I think some TME's, but otherwise the rods are the same as 8/9. The car is old though, so might have some rod issues, but not due to differing design weaknesses. The 4 (the first of modern gen 4G63Ts) had crankwalk problems though.
