Bought the Not From Here MB.01s and they feel like a more lifestyle shoe. You literally can't lace them up tight in the mid and forefoot. My foot fit then fine, but it was just loose in the mid foot and you can't lace them down tight due to the plush tongue there. I ended up trying to tie them tight up top and it didn't feel right. Not a good fit for everyone I would say unless you have a wide foot, my foot is long and slim so these didn't work. If you're like me I would go with a KD 14 or 15, PG6, or Curry 4 FloTro when it comes out. I played in the Puma Cylde all pro and they worked really well. Problem is, they are low quality. Once they absorb your sweat while playing them loosen up too much and get kind of dangerous to play in (super low cut and loose don't mix in basketball). Amazing until you start sweating so they were awesome in the fall and winter but bad in summer when it's 90 degrees. Just some tips for those out there with a slimmer foot.

Big fan of mb 01s - grip is crazy on a clean court but does pick up a bit of dust on a dirtier court. Lows are slightly better imo. Tired of the material talk when it comes to hoop shoes, were in the era of tech and making them breathable/lightweight. These would look clean with some buttery leather but then it will crossover into looking and feeling like a lifestyle shoe.

These MB.01 Shoes are very good looking my favorite is the queen city colorway. Regarding first signature kicks I'll put Peak Tony Parker 1 in the list. Those things have great traction, lockdown and support. Built like a tank too.

i think the mids are better. i have 3 pairs of mids and I got these. I have a little heel slippage in the slows and none in the mids. Also idk if it’s just me but my mids have godly grip but the lows have mid grip. Maybe my lows just aren’t broken in as much but idk.

i copped the new mb 1 low disco lamelos. Does it have a translucent outsole or a rubber because everyone says the transluscent rubber is more grippy and the rubber doesnt have alot of squeak.

Yea, i have the solid rubber(galaxy colorway) and it’s absolute garbage which kinda blows cuz its my favorite colorway and i wanna try get another pair with the translucent, but i dont wanna get another pair just to be sliding all over the place again

oh thanks for that, i took my melos on court a few times already and it has good squeak but overtime it has reduced squeak just a tiny bit but if you clean it with water and dishwashing liquid with a old toothbrush it should be good. The only downside about the lows is the cushioning on your ankle because there is too much but my melos do have a translucent outsole. I recommend checking the outsole before buying the shoe.
