Honestly as a Mavs fan since 2018, this is my favorite version of the team. Yes there have been other great Mavs teams, but the Derrick Lively pickup this draft was HUGE on me. As well as picking up great defensive players with athleticism in Daniel Gafford and PJ Washington. Kleber insane defensive IQ really on display this post season and certainly hitting his stride from 3. Josh Green and Exum spark plugs off the bench. Just everyone playing their role so well this series (and even since the trade deadline frankly). We picked up every piece we were missing it seems, and it’s just so cool to see it all come together after the absolute disappointing disaster of last season.

clippers depended on their 3s and now it's gone instead of going back to Zubac for plays, Harden and PG forced it. While at Dallas, Luka started slow and nothing on 3 pts. did he force it? nope, he involved his team and played defense with kyrie. That's what separates explosive players like PG and harden from the stay-calm and detonate Luka and Kyrie, once Harden and PG's fire runs out, they're cold, Kyrie and Luka stayed hot and delivered even away from the ball.. and of course Dallas bench steps up when they are needed. Let's go Mavs!

I guess if your "The System" Player give you 7 points on 2-12 shooting and a +/- of Negative 25, its hard to win. To be honest i don't record any other Super Star player in NBA histroy can be so inconsistant in the playoffs for his entire career, his ups and downs differences are huge, but at least overall he had a good series until this game, which is quite typical of him.

Nah this Mavs team is ridiculous. Luka and Kai are a threat anywhere on the court, and if Luka or Kai drive to the paint they are capable of finishing plays themselves but they also have lob threats like Lively,Jones and Gafford. Any defense in the Nba is in a pinch about who they should defend at that point.
