Big time win for the Mavs, getting home court advantage to Dallas! The Timberwolves have good defense but they were not tested against elite guards like Kyrie and Luka. They are not Jamal Murrays, not Bradley Bills. No disrespect to those guys, they are good players, but now we talk about another level. Kyrie got them going early, Luka put on a clinic on both ends of the floor in the 4th. The fact that Mavs won with an off night behind the 3 point line is a good sign for them for the next games, because at some point they are gonna make those. Mavs' top dawgs got whatever they wanted tonight vs the best defense in the league. That says a lot about them. Let's go! Mavs in 6!

i know it now. If tha Ball is in the air, exactly above the rim, you are not allowed to dunk in the ball. You have to watch and see if the Ball is goin in or not. In Europe, this rule does not exist.

here we see an NBA rule nullifying a bucket by Towns 8:31 after the ball hit the rim Towns tap-dunks it in. the Refs say NO basket because it is offensive interference acc. to NBA rules. this rule does not exist in international bball. imo it could be worth to debate whether this rule makes sense after the ball hit the rim? 🤔

They cheated them, that's all that is. There is no offensive interference if the ball is not on the way down into the basket. Seen this all throughout the regular season and they never made that call until now.

Interference... you are not allowed to touch the ball if the ball's trajectory is within the rim as the ball might still come down and rim in as a counted basket. That is why they showed the top view during playback to clearly show the trajectory making it a correct call. The ref is correct and it was a clear interference. Had the ball bounced off just slightly further out Kat's slam would have counted. So close.
