We are having trouble with a hat staying on the frame when it's being embroidered. We have tightened everything on it and it still gets pushed off the frame. Any suggestions on what to do?

My best guess is that the design may be too tall for the style of cap. The design size isn't limited as much by the frame as by the profile of cap itself. If you continue to sew toward the top of the cap, at some point, the lower arm will hit the inside of the cap and force the cap off the frame. This may help sorting out design size on caps. melco.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/360087892711/Digitizing_for_Caps.pdf

Hey is it possible to hoop the side of the hats using this frame?

Hi Brian. The WACF has a 270 degree sew field. In one hooping you can go from ear to ear.

Hey guys, we have an older amaya that we bought recently and are very new to embroidery. Do you have any suggestions for videos explaining older versions?

Much of the hooping techniques, thread, needle, and backing information, as well as most of the machine information is still relevant for the older machines. A few settings like the tension of the bobbin case or hooping with a specific cap frame may need to be looked at in the manual. Even the maintenance is much the same, with only a few changes for sensors, covers, and trimmers. Keep to the Advanced Interface videos, and much of the information will transfer. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ooXapZR-ndeUf5o
