If I'm Edwards, I'd be working on these things at this point: 1. Conditioning. He wore out in the Playoffs, late. It was his deepest run. He'll learn. Part of conditioning is diet. He admits to eating poorly. Change that fact. 2. Workouts. He admitted to missing some workouts. Have the Kobe mentality and go hard, every time. 3. Post up Isos. Teams started to loosely double team Ant in the Playoffs, and did it early in a set and way beyond the three point line. Go off ball and in the post, spread the D, and make a quick decisive move. 4. Off ball. Too often he is standing in a corner. Watch old school Reggie Miller or Curry now. Yes, different skills and players than AE, but he could put a lot of pressure on teams in this regard. I have a feeling he's saving up due to #1 above. 5. Decisiveness. Know your spots and read the D quickly. The ball and offensive pace can stall in his hands. Go quickly, decisively. Even watching Team USA, he's been good, but the ball sticks a bit too long in his hands. My favorite player. Excited to see him grow.

Sometimes he trusts his team too much. There are many times when I'm thinking why didn't ant take the shot, or, why did he take the shot with so much time on the clock. As a Timberwolves fan, he's still got so much room to grow it's crazy. Both offensively and defensively he can still improve, and like the video days, each year he DOES improve which is crazy. Where is his ceiling? Is he ever going to regress? He hasn't shown it yet even in Olympics. Even with LeBron Steph Booker embiid Tatum AD and everybody else, he's still sticking out like he's the best player on the floor. Only person who's looking better than Edwards on team USA is AD.

people saying he is overrated is kind of wild. he dragged the wolves to the record they had in the regular season. and then even more in the playoffs where towns forgot how to play. with out ant wolves are an easy lottery team. with him they were 1 game out of 1st place in the west. and if you are going to talk about the mavs series please look at his stats. he had almost 2 triple doubles. and had 1 game with 19 the rest was well into the 20-30 range. if his teammates decided to play they would have been in the finals.

As good as he is, his game so far relies too much on his athleticism. He is very young and has time enough to add more to his bag, so when he is no longer the more athletic dude in the court he still dominates. In this past match against Dallas, it was made clear Luka and even Kyre are much better than Ant, precisely because these two have much more in their skills set. His field goal percentage would be way higher at this point in his career if he had not had to play with Karl Anthony Towns and that's what nobody is talking about and it's so annoying, Dillingham and Shannon Jr. in particular are going to make this so much easier for Ant..
