booker been proved he was the best sg in the league after the 21 playoffs. honestly i love anthony edwards and what he brings to the game but we have to be honest here and db brings more proper basketball to team usa and whatever basketball program he is part of than ae. i am not trying to compare the 2 as equals or being that different apart i just see db play as a more complete player and proper than edwards. edwards is more athletic than db and booker is older so the decisions he makes rn ar usually better than ae but it is going to take many right plays and sacrifice for ae to reach db levels of trust and that is why he lowkey played the best on team usa. ridiculously underrated and definitely has aura

Oh my king booker. Where do i even start? Devin Booker's impact on the game transcends mere statistics, epitomizing the essence of basketball greatness. His breathtaking ability to score, highlighted by his unforgettable 70-point eruption against the Boston Celtics, underscores his unparalleled offensive prowess and resilience under pressure. Booker's dedication to refining his craft and delivering in crucial moments has solidified his reputation as not just a star player, but a transformative force in the league, drawing comparisons to some of basketball's all-time legends. Devin Booker's iso gameplay is among the greatest we've ever witnessed, as he combines a dazzling array of moves with an uncanny ability to create separation from defenders. His footwork, agility, and control allow him to navigate tight spaces and exploit mismatches effortlessly. On top of that, his shooting precision and accuracy are unparalleled Booker consistently converts from all areas of the floor, whether it's a contested mid-range jumper or a deep three-pointer. His remarkable ability to execute under pressure not only makes him a go-to scorer but also reinforces his status as one of the most elite and dynamic players in the game today.

no team can win a championship with Trae young as a starter on their team. He is one of the most talented offensive players in the league but advanced defensive metrics have him ranked as the worst defender in the nba. Offenses can just hunt him in pick and roll in the playoffs and if they make the right read they will win every single time. He can’t switch and can basically only hedge. Whereas guys like Rudy Golbert who get a lot of hate or James harden are good defensive playmakers who can hold their ground for the most part and force outside shots from their opponents.

Is Booker at the level of prime Klay minus the ultra elite 3pnt shot of Klays but Booker has an already mid range game and underrated Defence? Or? How far off Luca's level is Booker at the moment?
@notperfect1013 ай бұрын
Compared to Klay: Booker's playmaking, passing and self-creation is much better. 3pt and defense a bit worse. Compared to Luka: Booker has great off-ball movement while Luka mostly just stands around waiting for the ball. Defense/hustle/mentality another plus for Book. Luka has more scoring options due to being much bigger and heavier, also elite playmaking. However I'd pick Book anyday for my team over Luka due to aforementioned reasons. I'd say Book can fit seamlessly in any team/system (see USA) while Luka only provides value when he's got the ball in his hands.

Devin Booker is better at the SG position but ANT is a much better defensive playmaker, much more versatile on both sides of the ball, gets to the rim more, and is a better leader. Rim pressure is the most important quality of an offensive player, and it’s one the reasons JB and JT are champions and Booker, Kyrie, KD, PG, and Jalen Brunson aren’t. People always give JT and JB hate but both of them get to the rim frequently which creates every coaches dream: ball movement. Booker might be a better mid range shooter than Ant and being a good mid range shooter is important when teams load up but reliable outside shooting, rim pressure, and passing are the most important qualities. So I think Booker is a better scorer than Ant however ant possesses a few key qualities that I think make him a better creator. Also one of the reasons I said Booker was a better SG is because of his off ball movement which all teams need.

@stewartsa3 ай бұрын
Maybe it’s assists? Book is much better there too as he’s been playing point guard all last season. Ant has more consistent lapses where he tries to score when the pass is the correct choice.
