Call me crazy but I already believe jokic is a top 10 all time. Truly a unicorn. I think if he can manage to win two more championships and another MVP it will be no doubt to anyone he is a a top team maybe even top 5 all time. The nba really hasn’t ever seen a player like Jok. It’s crazy how good he is but what blows my mind is how consistently he plays. I can’t remember him having a bad night in years. I think he is the most consistent player to ever touch the court. Every night he is a walking triple double.

Why do people say he's in the top 10 best players ever? From what I gather, we've never seen anything quite like him before, and he's only 29 years old. I'm gonna say he's THE best ever and will hold that title for a long time after he leaves the game. But how long will he play? I wish he'd stay in Denver for 10 more years, but you know this is just his job. At a certain point you don't need more money, and he'd rather be racing horses. I'm just thoroughly enjoying this ride we have with him right now and hope it lasts for at least five more years. And all the while he's elevating the IQ of the game and the players around him. His water polo background is one if the biggest contributors to his passing game. Big hands and dime overhead passes comes from water polo. In water polo, he has to constantly tread water, now he gets to plant his feet. Water polo's passing gap is only from chest up to where u can reach up, but in basketball, Jokic had additional passing lanes from his chest down, including things like bounce passes. Jokic is beautiful to watch

Take magic and curry for example both fantastic players but people bring up that Curry averages 5 more points than Magic but i never hear anyone mention that magic averaged 5 assists more than curry. No, the modern NBA has taught you that's the case, but his passes were the better option. A lot of those interior lobs you're seeing ARE higher percentage shots (75% +), but the extra pass and dunk is like 99% gauranteed 2-points and a chance at a +1. It's the fact that we're so used to seeing players just take those shots and not passing that we don't question it. But I mean look, he knows his guy is going to dunk it and if Jokics defender makes a late play on the actual shooter there's a foul shot-- he's taking a good percentage 2-pointer and turning it into a gauranteed 2-pointer with an opportunity for an extra, it's actually very smart.
