BMTH Sleepwalking live at the Royal Albert Hall. or really any of them from that concert, its amazing
@JenMcLovin66614 жыл бұрын
I just want to point out that on many BMTH reactions everyone has this thing where why aren't BMTH hard like they used to be but growing up with them when Oli was heavy in drugs and alcohol and just hurt and angry to see him evolve into who he is now is the only thing you'd want to see from your faves. I mean my guy literally almost destroyed his vocal chords completely and that's how he earns a living and changing the sound not only brings in new fans but it also shows how much he and literally the whole BMTH have grown as musicians and artists. I will admit AMO is my least favorite but going into it with an open mind instead of automatically going into ew they're not metalcore anymore. Speak respect on him and BMTH for growing and expanding as artists.

yeah it makes me sad people act this way. it was the same with danny worsnop

Agreed..SS was the album that got me into them, and I’ve enjoyed every album since..for me, Jordan has elevated the band to genuinely be a headline act at the big UK festivals, not just a rock oriented one. I’ve watched them at numerous shows (Royal Albert Hall a highlight) and in particular see them turn the audience at Leeds 2015 was a sight to behold.

As a fan, this song was so different comparing to their recent albums, you can hear screaming, great guitar riffs and a little metal vibes. So this really made us happy to hear something hard after years :D

Ludens means "playful" as it's a speculated trait for humanity to evolve, according to some dutch philosopher in 1938. Playful as in creativity and needing things such as music and culture to survive. So the title of the song and how it progresses is a nice example. The song is playful in its creativity but it's solid. In terms of message it's about how we need a next logical step to fix shit, while being the best version of ourselves

Great reaction hahaha! I have every song of theirs on my playlist. It is interesting going through their evolution as a band. But the main thing is to go in with an open mind. Most people go in expecting heavy and only heavy and then get disappointed. But even their edm and pop music is wayyyyyy better than the mainstream bull shit. I'm a fan of all their music and you should definitely check out more!
@delectableangel19864 жыл бұрын
its definitely mostly pop-rock, with just a tiny bit of metal-core for the breakdown. I prefer screaming in smaller sections than entire songs anyways so I didn't mind, and did like the song. I think the vocals and changeups brought it together.

I love everything they’ve put out. Some of the newer stuff took awhile to grow on me, but now I love it.

Every album has evolved like no other band I've known. Seen them a few times and they are truly amazing. You have to do prey for plagues to see the evolution. Ollie is so creative and pretty deep. Favourite lone of thier. When you die the only kingdom you'll see is 2 foot wide and six foot deep. Or I'll bow to your god when he shows himself. Modern day genius

You should definitely react to music from their deathcore days and see how much they have evolved! I would suggest a song "Pray For Plagues" by them

See the version of Shadowmoses live at Albert Hall. Or even better It Never Ends or Happy Song from the same concert.

This song was a hype back then because it was heavier than their last album (like 90% pop and 10% rock, but it's kinda good). Deathcore in Count your blessings and Suicide Season (2008), Metalcore/post-hardcore with There is a Hell (2010) and Sempiternal, and a mixture of rock and metal in That's the Spirit. And obviously Amo with pop/EDM with bits of rock. My personal favs are Sempiternal and TTS, so we hope they bring back some elements of that era in the next record

I personally like the live in Tokyo version more. This is one of the soundtracks for a game called Death Stranding, so it must be something in that game.
