If anyone starts getting into Gojira, "Flying Whales" is a necessity. That song is the most wild progressive metal experience anyone's ears can fathom. When you cross the halfway point in the song where they bring in clean guitars for a second time, you'll understand why it's so amazing.

This song is very emotional and personal to Joe and Mario. Their mother passed away during the recording of the Magma album, where this song is from. This is kind of their way of saying goodbye to her but also to put their sadness and their suffering for losing a person that was their artistic mentor into words. The video was filmed at their mother's old studio at their old home in France and the "dancer" is their cousin.

GOJIRA Poland 2018. The Pol’And’Rock festival 2018. For any GOJIRA fan this live show is a must it’s 116min with zero commercials and the sound quality is by far the best ever! I dare anyone to find a better sounding live show cuz this shit is next level. GOJIRA is not a band there a spiritual entity!

Silvera is from the same newer album. The most similar structured song (more so radio friendly as you had suggested). Probably there most popular song I'm assuming. But honestly every Gojira song is amazing. I would avoid live shows for a first listen as the audio quality just isn't there.

Silvera must be the next one to go for by Gojira.. like this one Silvera was a song i heard earlier, i put it on my playlist not knowing who was actually singing it, it just did catch me, like Stranded does, because of this riff, so it just went there for that reason.. i have not heard all Gojira, far from, but i think its a intresting band, with something unique going on, and a band worth to follow..

Gojira is a wee step out left from what I usually listen to. But I'm due to see them live again in January -22 (first time was 2013). So I¨ve dug into their last two albums (Magma and Fortitude), and this one from "Magma" is my fav atm.

Stranded is from their latest album, it’s what get most people into this band, same for me in early 2017, this one tocether with Silvera, great solid tracks, and songs that could be played on the radio, that’s what they aimed for with this one. Although i like their old music, like anygtung from the Link Alive concert much better. Strange you’ve already done a couple of those and than come back to this one, but it’s a solid song indeed. If i can do some more recommendations. Oroborus-live at Eurokennes concert Clone-studio version, early heavy gojira. Wisdom comes, brixton academy Love - Rio concert. Cheers man, would’ve love to see more Gojira reactions!

I've never really hear or see anyone request this song, but please check out Pray from the same album, Magma. I love this song cause its sounds simple but heave at the same time and those are one of my favorite things about gojira. This also have clean vocals and its just sounds wonderful.

Gojira fan problem: having to repeat how much better it's live, even if studio versions are amazing. Please, do Pray extended version at Red Rocks, because they can't help themselves when it comes to do long, prog hypnotic versions. Plus Mario is mario-ing so hard on this one.

I think it depends. Live is always better if you're there. For a reaction... not so much. A lot of live videos aren't that great quality, even in oficial ones, some mixes are fantastic, other times the vocals are lost in between the rest. And Gojira's live videos are not an exception for this. As he mentions here, he's able to hear the lyrics much more clearly, which, Gojira don't get enough praise for their lyrics. I prefer people react to mostly studio versions and exceptionally to very good live videos, but it's a matter of preference I guess.

well me (personally), I prefer gojira's songs in studio records version, I mean, their live performances are fucking killer, but their studio version, the mixing, the layers, their attention to detail, it's just magical. I got a few suggestions just pick whatever you feel the most. death metal gojira like death death metal. clone lizard skin rise love Satan is a lawyer. the "popular" gojira. toxic garbage ( I think you've listened to this one) flying whales esoteric surgery backbone a little bit ears friendly gojira stranded, which you've reacted in this video silvera L'Enfant sauvage the axe (I really recommend this one in studio version, it's just, anger, emotions, and beautiful melodies) the cell the shooting star. magma the melancholy gojira (different stuffs but still, fire) lowlands from mars born in winter a sight to behold (not so melancholy but it's sad, one of the best lyrical content ) the fall instrumental gojira, if you just wanna close your eyes and let go all of that shits in our minds definitely looking forward to these stuff the silver cord unicorn 1990 quadrillion de tonnes 5988 trillions de tonnes torii yellow stones. thats it, no pressure man, just enjoy the journey! gojira is a great band. and sorry for shit english.
