BMTH always finds a way to piss off their metal fans and not giving a shit. It’s exactly how artist should be, artist should do whatever they want.

Gotta say, I heard this song for the first time probably a week or 2 ago and I was like “this is alright”, but wasn’t exactly getting into it. Fast-forward to today, and I can confirm that this song now lives rent-free in my head 😂

BMTH Continue to create interesting, entertaining and genre-bending music everything since “Suicide Season” just gets better and better! I’m here for whatever they decide to create! Most underrated band continuing to put out ridiculously innovative music!

They dropped this a week before i saw these in September in their hometown Sheffield, it was absolutely epic, was buzzing they played it aswell, best gig av been to, all 3 bands were class, Nova Twins and You me at six were great, Nova Twins even came back on to perform One by one with BMTH

I don't get it why people tend to hate the songs when they get more catchy and melodic. I grew up with Pop Punk in the early 2000s and this song is for me a mix of both worlds. The screamy vocals give it still an edgy BMTH touch.. i think i would not hear BMTH anymore if they would still do the death and metal core thing.. I mean, yea its still nice, but in 2021 this kind of music is not that relevant anymore than it was before... The post human ep was a perfect balance between old elements and modern styles.. to be honest, the thing i missed a bit in post human were the catchy and more happy songs, but like olli said, there was no reason for him to do happy songs at this point...

I feel like, as with actually a lot of BMTH music, a lot of people who listen to them always go “What the actual fuck is this?” and the more the listen to it, the more people enjoy it. It’s the band requiring you to LISTEN to the music. I feel like on more listens, you hear so much more of what the song is doing. I’m sure a lot of other artists do this too, but honestly it’s cool to have a band in this genre of music do it the way they do.
@mattemm4693 жыл бұрын
It’s a grower for sure but just in my opinion for me to really like a song it has to grab me on the first listen

Nice reaction! You make a good point about them wanting to branch out by playing to a different genre to increase their fan base. I agree. This is the only song I've heard, but other reactors share you opinion. I'm going to have to check out their EP now. Thanks 😊

Love your reactions as well bro. You've got good taste. Especially with the Slipknot vids. Check out some Killswitch Engage. The deep cuts. Always better than the bigger songs. Crystal Lake is also another amazing band that bangs harder than most metal bands. Very diverse. Anyways, have a great day!

Songs like these I do not like. Later in the day I find myself either singing the chorus out loud, or in my head. Does that mean I do like the song? I find the song boring. This is the type of song where it feels like it is ninety percent about the chorus, and the rest is just there. I do not see myself being hyped to replay this song. If this song does happen to come on, then the song will likely stay in my head for the majority of the day. I am conflicted. Dammit. Why do these types of songs have to be as catchy as they are? I promise I do not like them. Do I? Not really. Ugh. What is music? You know what, the song is good. The song is not one-hundred percent my jam. That does not mean it is a bad song.

Their musical versatility is a major reason why I love them. Everything from Pray for Plagues to this new one. They can do it all, and do it well.
@ludens14723 жыл бұрын
The thing that you are complaining about is what they are actually aiming for. They seem to not be just defined as "Oh that metal core band" Or "Oh that rock band" Or "Oh that pop band" Seems like they want ppl to go "Oh that band that does whatever the fck they wanna" And honestly that's why I love them.
