Unfortunately, despite how much it should be, it isn't routine in society. The fact of the matter is that as a society, we have become apathetic to the struggles and adversity of others. In this case, this lovely woman did what no one else was willing to do, and that was help someone who needed to be helped. I don't want to make a gross generalisation but this is majorly attributed to sheep mentality “it's none of my business, so why should I bother?”. Sadly, it is this very mentality that has made us so cold towards one one another. We simply don't care about humans anymore. And as much as I would love for this to be average protocol, it just isn't. However, this girl's act restores a smidgeon of hope in my tainted view of humanity that yes, we can care about one another; we can have compassion, we can help those less fortunate than us. As for now, I guess we just wait and see....

Such a small act, but I bet it helped him out a lot that day. There's a blind man that used to go to my gym and would try to find a free treadmill by walking past them and listening for if they were running or not. It's so noisy there and they're lined up so close together, that I'm sure it's hard to tell which ones are free. He gladly accepted my help finding one and had me point out which buttons were which for that machine (no braille on any of them). Really cool guy and he can run way faster and longer than me haha. It's just crazy though that before I make my way over to him, other people will just let him walk right by and not even say how many more down until an open machine. They wouldn't even need to stop running. Even crazier that the staff wouldn't offer to help. It's like seeing all those people in that video and hearing that he was trying to get a cab for a bit without luck. I wish these simple acts were what anyone would do, but unfortunately it's really not the case.

I still help strangers in need,I was taught kindness&respect from my Mother(RIH Baby April 19,1951-August 17,2020)and I hope someone helps my baby(Autistic,nonverbal&epileptic)when I'm not around. I recently did a good deed in the grocery store yesterday my sister&I,an elder lady had her hands full and things keep dropping and without blinking,we helped her with her things,mind you,my mobility is declining and I still helped. Once I got in checkout,guess who was in front of me! The lady I helped😂and her husband had trouble using his card and I helped him as well. She deemed me the Wal-Mart Helper😂and kept thanking me ,as a brown-skinned woman,I was blushing because I don't need the accolades,its just my nature&upbringing😊😊

If god created everything, why did he create blindness? Why did he make that poor man blind?
@TempestHCF6 жыл бұрын
lolz iksde first of all this guy isn't poor, there are much poorer people in Africa and in Asia with more worse problems. But God gave these people blindness to see how we gifted with the ability will help the blind and poor or if we would be selfish and care for ourselves.
