My mom did something like this when I was maybe 10. There was a teen mom in the grocery line ahead of us, her baby screaming and crying in her arm as she struggled to get everything together and paid for. Clearly she was stressed out. My mom went up to her and told her to take her time, hand her the baby, and that it'd all be okay. As soon as the baby was in her arms, my mom calmed him down. The teen paid for her groceries, and we helped her load everything into her cart. It wasn't until 3 years later that I learned my mom had her first child at 16.

I think it was gunna be quick trip at 1st cause it was her 1st time out with both and alone and couldn't handle like more then 20 mins like a experiment and to get what was needed the most like top priority then the whole shopping list but with this women as like her back up and helping she felt better and more confident like ok i can do this. Like she was giving up to leave with the two crying and like she said still has hormones and so probably self conscious but now has a stranger on her side like hey its ok, your good and im here with you. Im sure she told the mom who probably tried to be quick with only top priority items and thank yous that this women whose so understanding and sees the situation was like hey get what you need while ur here and with a 2 month old and toddler u dont get out much so she needed to make that shopping trip worth it to then probably go home and nap herself! Its sad i seen people like not glare but give like stink eye looks to those with crying kids or temper tantrums and some comments if those were my kid id blah blah or theyd be disciplined but this angel saw this women and like understood her situation and all dont put the stuff down and leave like hey i got this one and you got that one, we got this! Which again like when ur alone and say u trip or something embarrassing its easier when u got a friend to like laugh it off with but alone its omg wanna crawl in a hole. So this women was not only helping with one kid but her emotional support like ok im not alone in this. But those are just my thoughts and such on it and from other videos and such i seen of this story where like she was just gunna leave and get nothing cause both were in a crying contest. We all need to be like that Angel of a women who when she got teary eyed saying she knew what its like since she has two kids too and so probably wouldve loved if a women like her had gave a helpping hand during that time. We all need to do more and look out for others like her.

There are tons of parents and grandparents out there who can relate 110% so dont ever feel like you're not doing a good job at being a mom. She said lucky you we have 17 grandbabies so this is natural instincts for us. I was flying with my 10 month old, who could already walk and was into everything, just holding him in my lap on the flight. We got seated next to a guy who was at least 6' 4", broad as a barn, and I knew he was thinking "Oh great". He was already crammed in, now he gets to sit next to us, lol. We sat on the runway for OVER AN HOUR, ugh, and my son wasn't crying but he wanted to explore! The man turned out to be a cop from South Dakota, and after watching me wrestle my son for awhile asked if I wanted some help. Yes, please! He took my son and carried him around for a bit, cleared the aisle so he could run back and forth, etc. I think he stole some hearts, lol, there's something about a big, strong guy holding a baby! He gave me some time to relax a bit, and when we finally took off, we just passed my son back and forth when he would get restless, and he didn't cry a single time on the whole flight. My husband was in the Navy, so to have another adult help me out like that was invaluable. I'll never forget his kindness that day, it made it easier on me AND the other passengers, who didn't have to listen to a screaming kid the whole way. It cost him nothing but some time he probably wouldn't have done much with anyway, but his gift to me was huge. Little things are big things to others, a little kindness goes on forever.

That reminds of a flight I went on by myself to my aunt. I was seated next to this family of a mom dad grandma and two little kids must been around 3 and 5ish and I was supposed to have the window seat but grandma wanted that one so I took aisle I didn't mind. I ended up taking out my coloring book and ripping out pages for the two kids and they really enjoyed it and I think the family was thankful I was a kind soul who played with the kids. But I adore children

An older woman came and sat next to me, and was so nice and compassionate and actually helped me forget what was happening for a moment. When I got called back, I looked back to thank her, and she was gone. I honestly believe she was an angel, or she was sent to me by God. ♥️

I once tried to help a lady with three little ones at the mall. They were giving her a run for her money. She used a strong word, one used for a female dog in heat, and told me to "F" off. It was startling, I only wanted to help her. Her reaction to my help does not make me want to stop offering help when needed. I just don't get in to close when I offer. This woman who helped, is an inspiration. I think her actions are a lesson to us all. We need to hear about these kind of stories more. I know they're out there. Something like this happened to me before actually. My son autistic and nonverbal. He started to have a melt down of epic proportions in walmart. Ppl staring An older woman came over and I just knew she was gonna scold me. But I was wrong, she asked if she could help. She gave me a hug and told me it would be ok. She helped me strap him in the cart so I could rush to check out. He was still screaming. I tried my best to ignore him and the stares as I threw my groceries on the belt for the cashier. Next a very elderly woman came over. She came up to my son in the cart and started softly talking to him. Comforting him saying grandma's here it's ok. The cashier asked if I was ok and I started bawling. The cashier asked if she could hug me and came around and told me it would be ok. My son started to calm down to a whimper while the grandma was still quietly talking. Careful not to touch him. I was surprised she somehow sensed not to. (My son being autistic is very sensitive to others touch) I paid and the grandma gave me a hug and asked if I needed a ride home. I told her I could make it but thank you so much. I was so touched I was still crying my son was silently crying now as we walk out. And another woman came over and said can I hug you. She gave me a hug, she told me we have all been here and it's ok. She prayed for me and my son. It was all so touching. Literally a Walmart came together for me it felt like. It was amazing. The funny thing is just 3weeks before this I had taken a crying baby on a plane. The poor thing was exhausted from connections and delays. Mom was crying. I was right in front of them. So I asked if I could give her a break. The baby came up with me and played on my phone and was fine. Mom got a breather. So it was like my karma had come around back to me.

@@sunnyskye1106 I understand that it is crazy to give your child to a stranger but after hearing the story ,the dislike are uncalled for.

I wouldn't dislike this, as it is a beautiful story, but I think the dislikes are people who are too fearful of someone they don't know. There are a lot of wonderful people out there, but the few who would harm or steal a child make it difficult for people to trust, even when they want to.

I thought this lady walked around the store with them for 45 minutes while Mum shopped so the little boy was quite safe with her.

Maybe because this is a black woman coming to a white woman rescue. Why don't more white woman come to the black women rescue from this racist country.

See what happens when people step outside of their own prejudging persona and find common ground which from one mother to another understanding the frustration of motherhood dealing with young children and the stresses behind it...just when you start to think common decency was gone, humanity shows up unexpectedly.

You say, "See what happens when people step outside of their own prejudging persona" as if this is an example of that yet that didn't even happen in this video mate. No preemptive prejudicial judgement was made nor the act of "stepping outside themselves to find common ground". It's literally just a picture of a lady holding another woman's child.
@anthonyseward64885 жыл бұрын
@@A_Goat uh???? In reference to the woman holding the child who said in her own words that she knows what it is like to have children,and when a child seems to be a disturbance to others,nine times out of ten they shoot you crazy looks as if they have never experienced their own kids crying at two to three months,and yes people do judge people on the the stupidest things that are just the typical everyday life dealings...Sooooo again from one mother to another,the woman in the picture,based on the story behind it which detailed why the picture was taken, related by her own experience and understanding and decided help lessen the burden and stress instead of frowning or turning her face up and having an attitude along with having a prejudging persona...so to see a person taking a positive approach to things instead of following everyone else in their self-righteousness ways is a slight change from the negative norm mate
@A_Goat5 жыл бұрын
@@anthonyseward6488 I didn't even say you were talking about race... tf you on about mate? Again, you have assumed the context of this video in it's entirety. It is only a nice woman lending a helping hand, has nothing to do with prejudicial biases or getting past them. You're reading into this excessively. Even though I agree with your point that everyone should behave that way and we would benefit from one another, yet that didn't happen here and it's not an example of said bias. If you disagree and think this is a prime example of some sort of prejudicial persona, then hey no worries bud. You make your own decisions.
