some trappers say the most important thing is bedding the trap so it doesn't wobble by packing dirt around the jaws. looks like you just set the trap down firmly, and covered with dirt without doing that, is that just because the soil is cooperative in this video and the trap naturally wasn't wobbling much? thanks for sharing the video, can't wait to try this out

yes, trap bedding is important. Sometimes, they are very easily bedded and sometimes not so much.
