I’m late to make this season, but I am the wife, brand new to trapping, and will be using my kitchen to make this. And probably store it in Tupperware!

I am brand new to trapping after deer hunting for 45ish years, This video came up with perfect timing. Of course its probably to late to make for this season but next year I'll be making some. I have to tell you how much I appreciate your channel and the information you provide.

I'm having a absolute blast watching the young kids coming to trapping.. I think since the prices of fur is so low that people are taking more time to get there kids more involved. The whole thing is a blessing in disguise. Plenty of animals to catch , plenty of time to teach and no hurries.. 😊

This was perfect timing. I’m brand new to trapping and plan to make some wax dirt this weekend and finally get my traps out for the end of the season. This has quickly turned into one of my favorite KZbin channels!!!

These guys make trapping look easy! Reason I say this is I have started "trying" again. Zero catches, but I'm targeting mink.

Be careful when just buying wax ,because some of it has a scent to it . And just because you can't smell it doesn't mean it's not there.

A surform tool works well also to flake wax,just clean with a wire brush if it clogs,real cold wax works better. Surform is similar to a rasp yet not a file,similar to a hand plane but has a grater blade instead of solid & a handle like a file.

Having trouble finding that size of cat litter jug. Can you tell me the brand and weight? Where did you get that jug?
@marktheo15632 жыл бұрын
Amen! At today's fuel & maintenance prices & all time invested! "Time,the only truely un renewable resource!" What is a second worth? Ask someone a moment before a truck hits them? No one can honestly afford to check empty frozen in traps. Temps change quick,targets hibernate & it can be over for the year if the cold stays.
