FINALLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone who actually gives a thorough, easy to understand demonstration that covers EVERYTHING that this Hoover Carpet and Upholstery cleaner does! I own an older version of this one -- but I'm thinking of giving my older one to my mom and getting this one! I love Hoover products! Thanks for the time that you spent on making this video -- it is much appreciated! Did I say, I love Hoover products? I have always owned nothing but Hoover vacuums and carpet shampoo'ers! They last for ever and do a great job!

I'm glad you allow comments, because Hoover KZbin site has comments turned off (and now I know why)... we had 2 units and they both leaked right out of the box. So frustrating! Hoover used to be a great brand, but now that everything is assembled in China from cheap plastic, it's unreliable.

Attach the hosea and after those are attached push on power pedal on right bottom side of machine.. I just plugged in and was using that way and was not getting suction out of hose.. press lever to spray and pull back to suck up water.

I've always had Hoover Cleaners. I just bought a Bissell with the bladder because they didn't have the Hoover in stock.... *I HATE IT!!* I just ordered this model and I am returning the Bissell. I can't wait for my Hoover Carpet Cleaner to get here! 😊

Had one for a year and a half and it died. Bought a new in box old stock Hoover Steamvac, and am much happier with that than this thing that would have one part after another break on a bi-monthly basis.

I love the sucking power too. Nothing like your fresh water tank empty and dirty tank half full leading to dirty water left in carpet. Love Hoover.

I wish I saw your review before I went and bought that terrible Bissel Heat Pro. The two in one tank system is horrible. I had no idea. This Hoover one looks amazing!!! I'm going to be saving some money to replace that Bissel with this Hoover!

Your right, I hated mine too, and I bought the Hoover. However I have parts for the bissell, scrub brush, and side units for your unit.. because my bissell pro, burned up and the motor started smoking. mike

im glad yours is working. as soon as I bought mine yesterday, I tried to use it and it kept leaking water from the front bottom nozzel, even when I wasnt engaging trigger and even when turned off. I took off the tank and it didnt leak. it also leaked from the same place when using the hand tools. I went thru 4 tanks and could only recover 1.5, now my carpet is soaked. im so ticked! plus it was $20 for the solution. im taking back that piece of crap and I'll never biy another hoover. im also out the 6.5 hoirs of trying to get it to work, called hoover, did everything, and still ponds on my floor.

Wow! Completely get your frustration! Not sure what happened with yours, but we've been using ours quite a bit - we have a dog with incontinence, and we're having to clean quite often as we adjust her medication. It has been working great for us. Will definitely comment if that changes.

@ Tamara Dodge: Wow. It sounds like maybe you just got a hold of one that has an issue with the nozzle not fitting properly. I'm sure that you could have sent that part back to Hoover and they would have replaced it at no charge and even paid for the shipping. They might have even offered you a whole new unit.

We had two (2) of these units and they BOTH leaked even when the trigger wasn't engaged. The 2nd one we bought leaked right from the beginning. It's china built plastic Junk. Never again, Hoover.

It’s there pump that’s doing it. Hot glue the tubes on and it will stop. Or you may need a new pump.

Top Daddies, thanks for your video. I have this machine already. It is good in cleaning, but my carpet lost a lot of hair, do the brush and spins are too powerful? Can I take off the row of spins, and only use the brush to do the cleaning?

Thanks for this video! I've been searching for a new scrubber as my 2 year old Bissell is dying a slow death - I regretted buying it from day 1 but needed one on the spot and it was affordable! I knew I should of stuck with Hoover from the get go, I cam across this one only the non pet version first, and I know you don't have to have one that says PET when you have pets, they basically work the same rather it's a pet version or not, but I prefer to use ones that say PET (same with my vacuums) so I was happy to see this particular model came in a Pet Version :D and it appears from my research so far it's a lot better priced buying directly through Hoover's website . The replacement parts are rather high but hopefully I'll never need to buy any.. Time to save up so I can purchase this :) and my carpets finally be clean again

It does clean good the only bad thing about this cleaner is that you can't lock it in an upright position and that makes it a pain to move around you basically have to lift the whole machine up to move it to some places and top part is easy to fall back you have to be careful doesn't take much to knock it over .

Look at the lock for the button it may have broken off. I recommend you to find a replacement online.

what a pain to change a belt removed nine screws could not lift off cover really struggled to put belt on after all that plugged in and it started smoking machine less than year old.

Wow. I can imagine how frustrating that would be. We've been using ours quite often since September without any issues. (Barfing cat, old dog, and potty training. yay) Really surprised to hear that people are having issues. Have you tried contacting Hoover directly?

those spin brushes wont spin long, the gear that drives them is metal and it gets wet and rusts, locking it up.. eventually youll have to take it apart all the time to break the gear loose

I've only use mine twice before today, and suddenly it leaks like hell. It dumps the whole tank in 30-60 sec. You can hear it leaking fast. It's a great shampooer otherwise, but this is ridiculous.

Don Nash u need to call up the manufacturer and let them know it is probably a bad carpet cleaner get your money back or a new carpet cleaner

Check your gaskets - make sure they are all secure and in place. If they are, call the company OR return it to where you bought it and exchange it for another one.

It’s the pump. Hot glue the tubes onto the pump. Otherwise you may need a replacement.

Definitely a paid video. While it is a decent machine it has some design flaws. The dirty water jug is designed in a way that makes it impossible to avoid spilling a little dirty water when removing The tank. The hose connecting to the front is actually a pain in the butt. My old cleaner had it attached permanently. If you have a hairy floor (pet heavy) you will find clumps of wet hair that randomly fall out the side of the machine. There is no easy way to clean that nozzle when it gets full of hair. All those complaints aside, it is a decent machine for the cost, but I won't be buying this model again when mine dies. It leaks quite a bit when moving around the house.

Do not buy this Hoover carpet, shampooer and upholstery cleaner. I’ve only had a three days the belt seized up and whatever bearing is used to turn the wheels also seized up save yourself a lot of grief don’t buy it.
