When you select a temp on eco it changes to the old eco cycle, the standard 40-60 will never heat above 40. It says in the manual but it usually goes between 25c and 40c depending on the load size for most machines

I’ve had this for a few years. The dial program is a little confusing. We always go for the same one. But I still very much love this machine. But I would like to go beyond just ‘all in 1 59’.

great machine, i hate mine with a passion as the dial on it is just numbers and every time i need to do a wash i have to look at manual to see what number is what programme its a nightmare, everytime i put on a wash im praying that it will break just so i can get the hoover instead as the cycles are written and not numbers

Wish i'd seen this before i put on my first wash today (got the machine yesterday) 5 hours!!!!! 5 hours for a cotton wash at 60! Once it had started i just left it running as i'm not the best with instructions and didn't want to break it- bit of a technophobe... Wish there was a list in the manual of how long each cycle takes besides having to mess with the machine for it to tell me. It's just too clever!

@@Charlie-ly9kp mine appears to be washing them as I put a ball full of washing liquid in the drum. What it isn’t doing is making the clothes smell of my softener I put in the drawer. I have two options change to all in one pods from Bold, softener included in the tablet or ring them. If my softener dispenser is not working and your clothes aren’t getting washed and you are putting your washing detergent in the drawer there is quite clearly a problem with the dispenser don’t you think?

There's too much I don't like about this washer and the brand as a whole. And you're right, I measured the drum compared to my 12yo 9kg and its around 9.5kg or slightly under. So not a 10. The spin on this machine is Terrible and so noisy, because they don't use concrete cover over the drum. Just some crappy plastic poles with (sensors) that do. . Basically nothing. So for the price they charge you. Its already a bad choice if you live in a flat etc, because I could feel the vibration 2 rooms away, and my floors are solid concrete.

Hello, I've just got this washing machine and there's a dent on the right side under the drum. Me and the delivery drivers can't work out if its supposed to be there or not? Did yours have a dent type bit?

No there should be no dents at all on the machine it should all be flat on both sides

Looking at getting this washing machine, currently have a hoover but to be honest the button put me off simply because of the touch botton, I have the tumble dryer and it's touch and it's nippy as shit, I think the WiFi feature how well does it work,

There can be 2 factors, unbalanced loads or spin has been set to ‘No Spin’. I know it sounds stupid but that the only thing I can think of. Try doing an empty drum load and put it on a spin and see what happens

Thanks for this video. I usually wash on 30 degrees for time consuming reasons, do you know roughly how long that takes with a reasonably big load? I’d only use 40 degrees for my muddy football stuff lol. I’m looking at this washing machine though, just want to make sure I can set it to 30’ on a good spin. Any advice would be great

On the left you have Pre wash at the top Extra Rinse in the middle and Anit Allergy at the bottom, in the middle is the 3 t-shirts this is wash time top would be shortest middle normal and bottom is longest. Finally the right side at the top is Active wash which is 20 min with max 1000 spin middle is night wash and the bottom one is drum clean but you have to select spin and drain on the dial to use it

It has a steam option, but there is no steam refresh programme itself. Plus the steam part is always done at the end of the cycle after the final spin which I find very weird

You can buy this if you want also depends if you want auto dosing or not, my advice is avoid and go for a normal drawer

Have you gone into your router settings and changed the frequency to 2.4GHz only as the machine wont allow both 5 and 2.4GHz, find you router manual as you will need to type in your router IP address then adjust the settings, you can go back later and adjust them again its just when setting up most smart home things it doesn't like 5GHz being on. Hope this helps

How is the KG mode plus working? I have similar model but I have no idea about how it should work (in particular for which programs it's active and for which ones it's not)

Well I can definitely say that the care programmes are set times and do not have KG mode, the other programmes apart from wool will have the KG mode on the programmes. With regards to cycles on the app I would just experiment when the cycle starts look to see if the weight symbol flashes

With the steam option it does it at the end and it’s about 25-30 mins long. Don’t know why it does it at the end of the cycle whereas a Hotpoint I used to have prior to now it did the wash then steamed.

Have you checked and made sure that the softener light is on, on the control panel that way you know it’s active and the softener should go in on the final tinse

That’s unusual, I know this sounds stupid fill the tank on the right hand side (softener) but don’t overfill. Then what I would do is run a rinse cycle empty then keep an eye on the machine as with the last rinse it doesn’t fill automatically with water as the softener is goin in the drum then when it fills you should see some of it come out of the spray part when it fills

That’s the whole reason of care dose is to fill the tanks up and let the machine dose the correct amount depending on the load, then the lights will flash when the tanks are running low

hello i have this machine, been working fine since i got it over the last month... but today my daugther pressed something on it. know it won't spin on any settings... the door closes fine . but on the panel it's not locking it like it usually does . i think that's the problem, how do i fix this thank you :)

Am I understanding correctly that you cannot work the control panel properly? Have you made sure that the child lock isn’t on I know it’s stupid to ask but just want to get an idea of the issue. You say you cant spin on any selection, also asking is the load so unbalanced it refuses to spin if so take out the load and put it back in and re-try.

@@dcstanda hiya thanks for the reply. i dont think the child lock is on as i can still press the buttons the issue is when i close the door. and turn the knob to the right (wifi) it usually will lock straight away then it will do its wash.. the lock icon isn't going red to indicate it's locked.. sorry can't explain it better :( i'v tryed unplugging it still nothing.. is there away to reset it ? thank you

What I would suggest to do is, choose a cycle other than Wi-Fi and set everything to your preference then tap the start/pause button if it locks the door then that’s fine it’s not the lock mechanism, if it doesn’t and the lock light still flashes then you will need to call the Hoover Candy repair centre to get someone to come out and have a look at it. Finally if you got your machine within the 1st year of purchase then you’re ok as it’s still in legal warranty, if not advise them that you don’t have any warranty as you will have to pay callout fees and possibly parts

If in the uk, Wouldnt matter about being in the first year of warranty. You could still get this repaired for free under the sale if white goods act (not if it was deliberate damage thpugh, this only covered manufacturers faults) and within the first 5 years. Basically anything sold will have to last a reasonable amount of time. The one years warranty is only for people who doesnt understand this. So the manufacturers can illegally charge for repairs.

I don’t unfortunately as in 2019 it started making a banging noise and started to smell of burning so got rid of it and I wasn’t covered with D&G. I hope to get the H-Dry 500 heat pump dryer this year

Having had a samsung 5+ long washes. All of them are long. I am send my samsung back and will buy a this or another hoover. The times given by the samsung are misleading. Eco40 to 60 is very similar on most machines. However The Samsung machines are so overated. My clothes are not that dirty Samsung 😒 the app says 1.27 for the time 10 minutes later it' 3 hours odd. am a busy mom.
