It looks like it’s made better than most competitors in its price range and indeed it’s good to see a corded model offered not only because it assuages range anxiety but because it’s less complex and likely to last longer without failing.

I got this vacuum, 3 large dogs live in my house and it is really life changing! It does well with pet hairs, I check the dirty tank a couple times just to make sure it doesn't get stuck. It goes very well close to baseboard. I use my own product (odoban). I use it everyday 2 days (the other day my vacuum robot passes 1x) My house has never been that clean it's amazing ! I was really tired of vacuuming the whole house then repassing with the mop !

You definitely want to vacuum first especially with dogs. The pre-motor filter becomes blocked after about 500 square feet otherwise this will cause the motor to eventually burn up.

I bought this for $79 on clearance at Wal-Mart. The first time I used it, it worked great. I got my whole house done in 45 minutes, only having to empty the tank twice. Then I did the self-clean cycle on it, took the brush off, filter out & the tank out to let them air dry for 24 hours. I went back 48 hours later and put everything back in, put more water/Hoover cleaning solution in. I began mopping the kitchen/dining room & went over that pretty good then began on the living room after emptying the tank (got the symbol the tank was full, and it was). I put the tank back in after emptying it. I still had 1/2 container of solution and water since I “deep cleaned” the kitchen/dining room floor. After beginning on the living room, I made one “pass” & then the machine shut off, began flashing “tank full” light & wouldn’t continue mopping. I went in, dried the inside where the tank meets the machine & started it again. Same error message. Then I tried doing a “self clean” cycle. It wouldn’t do that because of the same error message. I have read online and that seems to be a very common issue with this. Hoover needs to do a recall on this & give people their money back. I’m returning my Streamline tomorrow. I hate that it doesn’t work anymore because I was hooked on it from the first minute of use. I love the concept of the mopping & vacuuming, but world-famous Hoover failed at this one. I’m so disappointed now.

Another great video. This looks like a corded version of the Bissell CrossWave HF3 Cordless 3649A. I agree with you, if you have to get a vac-mop I would get a corded one for more power and no battery issues. It doesn't vacuum but what do you think of the Bissell SpinWave?

Will you do a video on the tineco floor one s5 steam vac mop? I think it's the only vac mop from that company that is corded.

Do you know if it cleans grout well? I have a Hoover Floormate I have had for a few years but the grout brush was not there. I am looking for a hard floor machine that cleans grout

It does a lot better then the floormate . This is as good as it's going to get.

Hypothetically, if you use like a Lysol or something in place of their solution, would it still work fine?

A heavy glycerin or glycol solution probably would not be great for the internals of the machine.
